SEEKING THE KINGDOM OF GOD: A MYSTERY UNVEILED.

Tonight, I'll be speaking on a topic titled Seeking the Kingdom of God: A Mystery Unveiled. Seeking the kingdom of God, A Mystery unveiled. I want to thank every one of you out there who has made out time to listen and be part of this program. Seeking the Kingdom of God A Mystery Unveiled. God's priority for every human being. God has a priority for every human being on this earth. The devil also has a priority for every human being on this earth. As we live our lives, as we go about our activities, every day, we discover that every day in our life, a lot of alternatives, a lot of options, a lot of ideas of what to do, of how to do, a list of items. We find ourselves at a crossroad with. So many options, so many ideas, so many alternatives of what to do every day. According to Maslow, a psychologist, he said that the first need of a man is self-preservation. And he went ahead to list five of them. Well, that is his own opinion. God has something to say concerning what should be your priority on the earth. There is a reason why you must have a priority. If you don't have a priority, if you don't prioritize your needs, you definitely may not be able to give preeminence to what is very, very important and what will definitely be able to take care of every other thing. God has a priority for us. And that priority is one of the reasons why I am looking at this message. Seeking the kingdom of God: A mystery Unveiled.

The first sermon Jesus preached on this earth is about the kingdom of God. The last sermon he preached is about the kingdom of God. Let's see. John, chapter 6, verse 28 to John, chapter 6, verse 28-29 and verse 39 to 40. Okay, no, let's see. Matthew, chapter 4, verse 17, please. Matthew 4, 17. From that time on, Jesus began to preach repent. From that time on, Jesus began to preach repent. For the kingdom of heaven has come near. This is the first message, the first sermon, the first gospel preached by Jesus, our Lord and Savior on this earth. The opening speech of Jesus Christ on this earth upon his arrival 2000 years ago is what Peter the apostle just captioned there. And he concluded with the same thing, talking about the kingdom of God. John 18:36. John 18, verse 36. Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind. No. John 18, verse 36. John 18, verse 36. Are you there? Jesus answered, my kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now is my kingdom not from hence. The first message, the opening speech of Jesus Christ on this Earth 2000 years ago, was about pointed people to his kingdom. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The last message on the cross before the cross is the last message he preached. This was in his encounter with Pontius Pilate. He said, my kingdom is not of this world. Now you can see from the first message he preached and the last message he preached, you can see that he began with no other thing but the kingdom of God. This kingdom of God is what he said in Matthew 6:63, verse 33 Seek ye the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and every other thing shall be added unto you. Seek ye the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and every other thing shall be added unto you. The kingdom of God is so important that he began his ministry with it, he ended his ministry with it. And in Matthew 6:33 he said, Seek ye the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Every other thing, every other thing shall be added unto you. This underlies the importance of the of the kingdom of God. And it's so important that in the book of Matthew, chapter six 25 to 34 Matthew chapter six 25 to 34, Jesus declared Matthew chapter six 25 to 34 Matthew chapter 625 to 34 no, no, no, let me take it. Matthew chapter six 25 to 34 Therefore I say unto you, take no thoughts for your life what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on, is not the life. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you, by taking thoughts, taking thoughts, can add one cubit onto his stature? And why take yet thoughts for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, how they toil, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O year of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knoweth that Ye have need of all these things, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thoughts for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thoughts for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Of this phone, or put it in silence. Amen. So in the scriptures here our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave a list of so many needs of man. The need for food, the need for clothes, the need for your body. He said, do not bother about any of these things. Do not care about what you eat, what you will drink, what you will wear. Why? He said, because this is what the Gentiles look for. This is what the Gentiles. When the Gentiles pray, the prayer point of the Gentiles is food, drink, clothes, and all that. So you can see from this. Jesus here gave us example with the lilies of the field, ordinary grass. He said, look at how God has decorated them. Something that we grow today and tomorrow it is cast, it dies off. Look at how God clothed them. He says, solomon was not as much clothed as the lilies on the field. So it's important we understand that what God is talking about here is something that concerns you all. It concerns all of us, every day of our life. We have needs. If that your needs, you have a priority. Is that your priority? What is that your priority? Jesus said here, seek the first priority of a believer. The first priority of somebody who is interested in God should be what? The kingdom of God and his righteousness. Every other thing this Bible didn't say, when you finish seeking the kingdom of God and God's righteousness, he didn't say thereafter, you can then take them one by one. Food, drink, wares. He didn't say so. Did he say so? Look at what he said in that particular place. Look at verse 33 again. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And all these things. I'm sure you have not seen that thing before. And all these things shall be added unto you. What are those things? Those things are those things. They are nomadic from. Chapter, from verse 25. Clothes, wears, destiny, progress, prosperity, cars. Our daily life is consumed with all these needs. But for a true believer, it should not be so. A believer should be directly interested, passionately committed to seeking and making sure he is in the kingdom of God. If you succeed, every other thing will be added unto you. Tonight you will see why. God said children were coming to Jesus. And the apostle said, look, you push you. No, no, no, no, no, don't come, don't come. Jesus said, allow them to come. For it is people like this that can be able to follow and believe and accept the message of the kingdom. You see this child now as little as he is. If he goes out now to the street with his father, if on a busy road, his eyes are on his father or on his mother. If the mother or father steps out, even if all the traffic are coming, he will follow through of us. He is not relying on his experience, he is not relying on his ideas. He is watching his father, he is watching his mother. That is the kingdom concept. Jesus said, if anybody will not be like them, this kingdom will elude you. If you cannot deal, you see what made you different between what is different between you and this little ones. The difference is that over the years you have acquired ideas, you have acquired education, information, experience. You have encountered so many things. That is why God will say something and you will sit down and say, I don't. The way I understand it is this way. But if he's a child, if he's a child, if you tell that little child, Zaina, open your body to just do it like this. True of us, that's true. But if you say open, your body will say no. No. Do you know why he said no? By his age, by his, by her experience, by her understanding, by her education, by her exposure, by the things that have entered her psychology, by her religion, she says, no, it's not good. Amen. God said in your lives the first thing that you will place if you want, if you want this kingdom. You cannot have this kingdom if it is not your priority. The kingdom of God cannot be assessed by anybody who does not have it, as it as his or her priority. Every person has a lot of needs. On daily basis they keep on multiplying. You are like somebody that came to a particular junction. This one is going this way, this one is going this way, this one is going this way. You are at a crossroad. Which way do I go? Jesus has a message for you. He's telling you today about God's priority for you. Let me inform you that God has a priority for you. The devil also has a priority for you. It will trust you to know that God has a priority for you in the Bible and Satan says, I also have a priority for you. And the work of the devil is to make sure that you do not give attention to God's priority. The devil will succeed in your life for as long as he does not want you to key into God's Priority in your life, there is God's priority for you. For every human being that God has created on this earth, there is a priority. See these two things, his kingdom and his righteousness. You see our brother now, he may be having a problem and somebody may want to divert attention for healing and all that. Listen, the kingdom of God and God's righteousness is all that everybody needs. Whether you are dying, whether you have one eye or both eyes are blocked, whether you have, what do you call it, Crutches. Whether you are deaf, whether you are dump. What they need is what? The kingdom of God and his what? Righteousness. Every other thing. Every other thing shall be added unto you. But the work of the devil is to tell you no. We are going to see the scriptures where Jesus called people and they said, no, let me go and bury my brother. Let me go and bury my father. Let me go and tell my wife. Let me. Let me go and tell this you are giving excuse. Religion has created a lot of excuses. You will have reasons now to argue the word of God. But the truth is that Jesus wants you tonight to understand that he has a priority for you. What is that priority that Jesus has for you? Let me take you to the Book of John, chapter 6, verse 28 to 29. John, chapter 628 29. John, chapter 6 28, 29. You are there. I read. Then said they unto him, what shall we do that we may do the work of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God that ye believe on him whom he has sent. Look at verse 39 and verse 40. And this is the Father's will that has sent me that of all which he had given me. I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone, everyone, emphasis. Which seeth His Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life. And I will raise him up at the last day. Look at God's priority for you. These people came and asked him, what shall we do to do the work of God? What shall we do so that we can please God? What shall we do so that I will be in good terms with God? I want to please God. I want to please God. What shall I do to please God? There is nothing. There is nothing. Religion will occupy you with religious activities. Come today, come tomorrow, so that you will not be able to pay attention to the ultimate thing that Jesus wants you to be. Jesus does not want activities. Religion will give you clobber you with A lot of activities. Jesus said, this is God's work, that you believe him whom he has sent. He went in verse 40, said, this is the will of God for you. This is God's need for you. This is God's priority for you. That everyone that seeth his Son and believeth in him shall have everlasting life. And he will raise him up on the last day. Now let me show you. Devil's priority for you. I told you he has a priority for you. Matthew, chapter 13, 3, 4. Even though we are still going to come back to that Matthew, chapter 13. But let's take a look at it. Matthew 13:3 4 and verse 19. Matthew 13:3,4. Are you there? And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, behold, a sower went forth to sow. And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside and the fowls came and devoured them up. Now let's see, what are these fowls? Just take a trip to verse 19. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not, then commit the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the wayside, the wish of the devil. His priority for you is that anytime you receive the truth of the gospel, which is the only thing that will set you free, he will come. The Bible said the sower went to sow seed, and he scattered seed. Some fell on the wayside on the paths part way. The Bible said the beds of the earth did not allow it to perch. They did not allow it to arrive upon the arrival. The beds. The Bible said in verse 19, that bed there is who the devil. His work in your life is to make sure he uproots every truth sowed in your life. He makes sure he uproots them. He makes sure he dismantle them. He makes sure you don't have access. So once the word is preached, the job of the devil is to make sure that you don't accept it. He takes it out of your heart. You can see the work of the devil and the devil's priority and God's priority in that Matthew, chapter 6, 25:34. The Bible told us Jesus himself said, he enumerated all the things that should be the summary of what are the needs of man. If I ask any of you now, your needs, all that you are going to list for me will not pass. Food, drink, wares and all that. These are all material things. Jesus didn't say that when you seek the kingdom of God first and his righteousness that you should. You can now do what all the churches today, they call for. What? Prayer points. That's true. All the religious organizations I have come across, all religious groups, all religious congregations, what do they. One of the things they used to entice people is what bring your words, prayer, what points? And you see people dropping it. You see people dropping it either by envelope or by word. It's a prayer. If the prayers that are said in all these religious organizations can be heard publicly, you will discover that they are far away from God's will, from God's priority, from what God said you should seek. I am going further to show you that Jesus said that it is the Gentiles that pray and say, God, give me food. Give me this house that brother Steve is staying in Abuja. Give me that house, that car. Give me. I want to go to us. I want a travel ticket. I want an international passport. I want to be in Canada. I want to marry. I want the Bible. Jesus said it is who it is. Those beggars who don't know God. That is how they pray. Unfortunately, Christians are the ones saying this kind of prayers today. These are so called believers. The Bible told you if you are a believer, if you are interested in Jesus, he said, brother, sister, throw that thing that you are crying. You want to write your prayer points. Your prayer point should be the kingdom of God and God's righteousness. God's righteousness is not your righteousness. Check the Bible. It didn't say your righteousness. He says God's own words. Righteousness. Hallelujah. Seek my kingdom, seek my righteousness. Keep quiet, watch and see what will happen in your life. Nobody has, very few in the world has taken time to say, God, I challenge you. If he's a child. If he's a child, you can now see where they are stronger than you. If he's a child, his father will say, zainab, when I'm coming back today, I will buy you aeroplane. Aeroplane. Zaina will be rejoicing, rejoicing. The father cannot buy bicycle. The father may be driving Okada. He has told Zaina that when I'm coming back, I'll buy you what Daddy said he will buy me aeroplane. Zayna will be waiting for his father to come back so that he will get what? Aeroplane. This is deep. But if I tell you now that if I come back to Abuja again, I will buy aeroplane, you will definitely tell me. You have not even bought. You're Talking of you see. You see why? You see now? That child is far better than you. Jesus told the apostles, don't touch them again. Allow them to come. He used them to teach you and to teach you about his kingdom. God is talking to you about his kingdom. The only thing you and I need is God's kingdom. But religion has kept you away. He said, write your prayer points, brother. What do you need? Just say it, and the Lord will do it. Just say it. Just talk it. Just. Just say a word and God will do it. See? Check your Bible. The Bible said, seek ye my kingdom, his kingdom and his righteousness. In Philippians 4:19, the Bible said, My God shall provide for you all your needs according to his riches. In what? In glory. It's not part of their message. They don't believe it. It's true that he will provide all. He didn't say some. He didn't say some. Did he say few? Is apostle. An apostle of the Most High. God stood on this earth and said that God will provide for you all your needs according to his riches. In what glory? People say, no, it's true now. But you know you will do something. You will ask. Jesus started with prayer and ended with prayer. In the book of. In the book of Luke, chapter one, verse 45, Mary said, but how is it going to happen? The angel told her today to she that he that believe there will be a performance of what is promised. When you believe God's promise, you activate that thing. That is impossible. It will become what? Possible. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Why God's promises in our lives have remained unactualized is because we are behaving like pagans. We are giving me this. My leg, my leg, My leg. This operation. I'm going. My leg, my head. It is a headache all the time. Headache, headache, headache. You. If you give that woman pen or that man pen, he will write a very big 20 leaves of a size book. He will finish it where he's writing his niece. Jesus said, I know your needs are so many. He summarized the needs of a man with three things. Food, drink and wares. And he said he took time. In verse 25, he started going through it. Let's go through it again for you to see that everything is covered. He said, all these things. All these things means all these things that you are clamoring for. I, Almighty God, will do what? Provide. Look at it in Matthew, chapter six. I will start also from verse 25. Pay attention. He summarized all your needs with those three things. It doesn't mean that everything you need is just these three things. But it's a summary of everything that a man needs. Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life. What year shall eat or what year shall just take time. Listen to the word of God. What year shall eat, what year shall drink, nor yet for your body what year shall put on. Is not the life more than what meat? Is not life more than food? Is not. The life I gave you is asking you a question. The life I gave you, is it not one of these things? You are asking me what is the answer? The answer is what? Yes, Jesus is asking you a question. The life I gave you, is it not more than all these things? You are clamoring your head. Give me pen. Let me write. Let me write. Brother, have you written? Give me. Let me also write my prayer points. Prayer point. Prayer point. Prayer points. Who are you? Religion have made people pagans, pagans instead of believers. That's the work of religion. Religion is what Jesus came to deliver the world from. Because religion teaches you what you must do to earn salvation, what you must do to have eternal life, what you must do to succeed. But Jesus, the kingdom, the faith of Jesus teaches you what you must believe in for you to have everything you need. Seek. Ye seek. Yeah. I challenge today. Jesus is challenging you today. If you say you are a believer right now, you know you are not a believer. If you are a believer, you will seek what Jesus says you seek. And you will stop where he says you stop. But you want to help Jesus. You want to help God. You want to assist him. You know more than him. You want to use. I know you say I should seek just your kingdom. But you know, you know this one is too pressing. If you wouldn't mind, I would like you to just consider is so dear to me. You are not a believer. You are not for that kingdom. See, God may just decide to do those things for you and give you, provide all those things for you and keep quiet. He has used that thing he has given you to distract your attention. Since that is what you want, he will give it to you to settle you. I think you want to go to America. You want to go to Canada. You want to be this, you want to be that. Oh yeah. What else you say you want? You want to be and you think God so love me. I just pray and the thing will happen. He has just merely given you your heart. What desires? God's desire for you is that you seek his kingdom. The devil's desire for you is that you reject that Offer. God has offered you his kingdom, which is the solution to every man's problem. But the devil is making sure that there are things that will be placed in your heart as priority instead of the kingdom of God. Let's continue that place. Is not life more than food? And is not body more than clothes? Behold the fowls of the air. Just look at the fowls of the air. For they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are you not much better than they? Are you not much better than these people? They don't go to markets, they don't buy food. They don't do this. God, in his infinite mercy and providence takes care of all of them. Are you? God is asking you a question. Are you not. Are you not better? Are you not more than them? What's the answer? You are better. But look at what he does to them. And he's asking you, just seek my kingdom. I made you in my image. I didn't make the lilies of the valley, the fowls of the air. I didn't make them in my image. I made you in my image. Seek my kingdom and my righteousness. And you say, no, I will seek it. But when I reach 70 years. Okay, okay. When I finish, if I come back from America, or if I do this, if I do that, you are giving God condition. And I will show you people that gave Jesus condition. He called them and one said, let me go and tell my people my Father is in a mortuary. Let me go and bury him. He said, allow the dead to bury the dead. Come. Hallelujah. Now, let's continue a little. I just want you to see these things. You yourself. Verse 27. Which of you, by taking thoughts, which of you, by taking thoughts, can add one cubit onto his stature? Can you? Not at all. And why take yet thoughts for raiment? Consider, Kenneth, the lilies of the field, how they grow the toy knots, neither do they speak. And yet I say unto you that even Solomon, in all his wisdom, in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O year of little faith? You see, the devil does. What the devil does is to diminish our faith. To diminish our faith so that we will not be able to incline our hearts to the promises of God. O year of little faith. Therefore, from today, take no thought saying what shall we eat? What shall we drink? Wherewithal shall we be clothed? This is a summary of all your material needs. Your needs are far more than this. But Jesus is making a summary. This is the highlight of what a human being needs. He said, stop this. Your prayer points. It is diversionary. It is taking you away from the source. It is taking you away from your God and your Savior. Take no thought saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be clothed for? For after all these things do the Gentiles do What? Look at verse what in the original King James, it is after all these things do the pagans. This is how the pagans, this how people who don't know God. These are people who are not in God's family. These are how people who are not God's children. These are how people who do not trust God, who are not trusting him for his promise. This is what they engage themselves on daily basis. Every morning they do a list, what I need. Some will even sleep and put it on their bed. Some will put it in their Bible. This is how the pagans preach. This is how the pagans pray. They have no faith to tell God, I am depending on you and on your kingdom. They are not comfortable with God's kingdom. They don't believe in it. They don't believe in it. They don't have the faith and religion. The devil devised religion so that it will be given a religious coloration so that you will be comfortable saying it. What you are saying every day is in disobedience to the word of your Savior, Jesus Christ. But seek. Yeah. For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. So when you say all these things, you are now sure that God knows all your needs. You see, he has taken time from verse 25 and came down. So it is obvious that you know that at least you now know that God knows all your needs. It is obvious that God knows all our needs. Now that you know that you know all your needs, look at what he said in verse 33, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And all these things, all these things that you have been clamoring, all your headache, all your problem, all your needs, all your trouble, all these things shall be added unto you. He didn't say, when you have gotten sought my kingdom, sought my righteousness, now you can then begin to jump into all the things you need. Is that what he said? Is that what the Bible says, He said, when you seek my kingdom, seek my righteousness. I all these things shall be added unto what? By who? By God. That's the Word of God. That's the word of God. Now let's go to chapter seven of that same Matthew. Matthew, chapter seven. I want to show you how pagans. I want to show you a lot of things. Matthew, chapter 7. Let's read 7 to 11. Let's read 13 to 14 and let's read 1221 to 23. Matthew chapter 7, Matthew, chapter 7. Let's Read 7 to 11. Let's Read 13 to 14 and let's read 21 to 23. Matthew chapter 7th, 7, 11. Ask. Ask and it shall be given. You seek and ye shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh, receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth. And to him that knocketh, it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom, if his son asks bread, will give him a stone, or if he asks a fish, will be, Will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father, which is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him? Praise God a lot on all these years when I come across this particular passage and what I hear many people speak about this particular passage is a direct is in direct application to their material needs. Say, ask. Ask. Ask what? What is God asking you to ask? What is he asking you to seek? What is he asking? Which door is he asking you to knock? Ask. What religion has converted this particular passage into a license, into a liberty for people to ask God anything? It's not true. No, that's not true. The Bible this message was a message preached one day From Matthew chapter 5 to 7. One sermon on a mountain mount of beatitudes. From chapter 1 in Matthew chapter 5 to the last verse in Matthew chapter 7 was preached by Lord Jesus Christ seated on a mount called mount of Beatitudes. In that message he told you what you seek. What did he say he should seek? The kingdom of God. What did he say he should ask? The kingdom of God. The door he said you should open. In John 14:6 he said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one cometh unto my, unto me, unto the Father, except by me. In John chapter 10, he says, I am the true door. John 10, verse 9. Let's read it. You need to know the door because the door is not your needs. It's not your material needs. Jesus said, we should ask. Matthew 7:7. Seek he shall find, knock, shall be open, ask you shall get. Then you start asking what you are asking. Like a non believer. You are asking what you are not supposed to ask. If you are a child of God, if you know your calling, if you are interested in salvation that Jesus is offering, you cannot be asking for what that what you are not supposed to ask. John, chapter 10, verse 9. What did he say? There I am, the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find what pasture. This door is a door unto salvation. A door of the door of the kingdom of God. It's not a door for your food, for your international passport. It's not a door for your prosperity, for your business to prosper. It's not a door for you to make progress. It's not a door for success. These things are not required of you, a child of God. You only seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness. But people have converted this thing now as a license, as a tool, as a key, as authority for them to ask God anything But the sermon is one salmon. There he says, seek, yea, the kingdom of God. In John 10, 9 He told you, I am the door lock. Let's continue. Let's read that same chapter, Matthew, chapter seven. Let's see, 13 to 14. Enter ye in at the straight gates, for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction. And many there be which go in their earth, because strait is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life. And few there be that find it. You can see the way, you can see the way. He said, enter here in at the strait gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leaded to destruction. There is a religious camouflage of this, of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is parading in the world today as preaching message or gospel of salvation. But what they are preaching is for the stomach of the preacher and the stomach of those that are receiving the message. That's their message. It's not about this kingdom. If it's about this kingdom, the gates, the door, everything is about the kingdom. Wide is the gate that leads unto what destruction, but narrow is the way that leads unto life. Now look at the next verse, the chapter, verse 21 to 23, that same chapter. Not everyone, not everyone that. Not everyone that saith unto me, lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. But he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven, many will say to me, in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Ye that work iniquity. Depart from. From me. If you read that. If you go to Matthew chapter six, verse. If you go to Matthew, chapter six, verse seven. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathens do. For they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. If you go there, you see that hidden means pagan in other translations. So there is a way. The pagans pray. They pray for material, earthly things, and they use vain repetitions. Jesus is instructing us on how to pray and what to pray for, what to seek, what is our passion for? What is your passion? For if your passion as a believer is not this kingdom, I'm sorry, you will regret it. Many shall come on the last day and say, lord, Lord, in your name. I did this in your name. These things they are saying they did are religious activities. They are things that seem right in their sight. They. There are things that suggest to them that they are believers. He said, prophesy healing in your name. Yes. So you mean Jesus can permit somebody to heal in his name. Yet that man is not. The answer is yes. He gives people their heart. What desires? Since you don't, you are not interested in the kingdom of God. That thing you are interested in, God will give it to you to settle you. Esau was settled with a porridge of yam. And he forsook his birthright. And when he now sought for it, even unto death, he didn't get it. So God can prove God provides you. What do you need? If you say you are not interested in the kingdom of God, if you you are not interested in your birthright, no problem. Give Jacob your porridge. Give Jacob. Jacob will give you whatever you need, and you give him his birthright. Your birthright. Give Jacob your birthright and collect a porridge of yam. For a porridge of yam. A man forsook his birthright. And for centuries his descendants have been trying to change the handwriting. And of course it's not possible. It's only Christ, the Prince of peace, that can make peace between Jacob and Esau, between Isaac and Ishmael. And these are the two nations that are tearing the world apart. In Luke, chapter nine. Luke, chapter nine. In Luke, chapter nine. 57, 62. Luke, chapter nine. 57,62. And it came to pass that as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, lord, I will follow thee wheresoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, foxes have hooves and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has not where to lay his head. And he said unto another, follow me. But he said, lord, suffer me first to go and bury my words. Father, Jesus said unto him, let the dead bury their dead, but go down and preach what? What? Your priority is the kingdom of God. Can you understand what Jesus is telling you here? This man is being called. And he said, no, okay, I will follow you, but first of all, let me go and bury what? Is burying his father not good? Is it not good? Correct. But is that the priority? No. Now you can understand. Jesus is a master, teacher. A man came to him and said, I will follow you wheresoever you goeth. He said, look, the foxes have holes, the birds of the air have what nests. But the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head. Then the other one came. Verse, verse 60. Jesus. Okay, no. 61. Okay, no. Yes, 59. And he said unto another, follow me. Follow me to where? For the work of the Kingdom of God. But he said, lord, suffer me first to go and bury my Father. What did Jesus tell him in our lives? There are so many excuses. I want to finish this. I want to do this. I want to do this. I want to do this. Listen and see what Jesus said. Let the dead bury their dead, but go down and do what? Preach the kingdom of God. So you can see, his priority in all these messages is about what the Kingdom of God. Another also said, lord, I will follow Thee, but let me first do what? Go and bid them farewell which are at home, at my house. I have accepted to follow you, but permit me, let me run to my house and tell my people I am not following Jesus. Please let nobody trouble me again. If you ask about me, do not be worried my whereabouts. I am following Jesus. What did Jesus tell him? And Jesus said unto him, no, man having put his hand to the plough and looking back, he is what is what fit for the Kingdom of God. God's priority for you. The kingdom of God is his priority for you. If you in all these things you are doing on this earth, you do everything, but you fail to prioritize. State you are a failure and you have lost your life. You have lost your life. Stop trading your life with all these things you are doing. Give priority to the Kingdom of God. Give priority to the word of God. Stop giving attention to distractions, material Distractions. Look at these people, they have very good reasons. What is in telling a man you met a man on the road, he said, follow me. He said, let me go and tell my wife. Let me go and tell my people. Let them not say I am not missing, let them know where I'm going. Jesus said, you see? You see no man having put his hand to the plough and look at what back his feet for the kingdom of God. You will not get it if you don't make it your priority. You will not get it. If you will go do everything, achieve everything your life a panel in Christ elude you. You start to miss Jesus and his salvation. If you fail to make the kingdom of God, you are what priority? Praise God. Luke, chapter 1815-17. Luke 1815-17. Are you there? Yes. And they brought unto him also infants that he would touch them. But when his disciples saw it, they rebuked him. They rebuked them. Parents were bringing their children to Jesus for him to do what? Touch them? For him to touch them. And the Bible said the disciples rebuked them saying, don't disturb what he's doing. He's on a serious assignment. You are obstructing activities. You are creating distractions. Let us see what Jesus replied. But Jesus called them unto him and said, suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not from today for of such, for of such people. If you cannot make yourself as little, if you cannot remove everything that religion has put in your ear, if you cannot dismantle what religion, education, experience has put in your ear and be as little as these little children. These things you have learned, these things you think you have studied, this God you think you know. This knowledge you have acquired, your experience will block your ears. And we make the entrance of the gospel truth impossible. But for a child, he has not had it before. Has he had it before? No experience, no knowledge, no education is a stand up. Nobody can trust as a child. Nobody can trust as a child. Give him any promise, whether he has the ability or not, he does not care. What he knows is that daddy promised me that he will buy me. He will go about telling his peers, my daddy said he is coming back from America and he will buy me this, he will buy me that. Can you behave like them? Do you know the reason why you cannot behave like them? What you have acquired over the years? What you said your husband told you, your wife told you, your education told you, your church told you, your pastor told you, your father told you those things build what is Called in your Bible strongholds that make it impossible for the truth to come in. That is where the child differs from you. He has not had all these things. Give him any promise, he will trust you perfectly. No, nothing, nothing. Anytime you see a child, you beat a child. Mommy, mommy. He's running to his mom, say daddy, Daddy, running to his dad. Perfect trust, perfect confidence. You don't distract his attention. If he's running to his father or his mother and a stranger comes, he will avoid the stranger. Nobody can do it than them. Except we bring ourselves to this level, this kingdom will surely elude us. Except we are prepared to follow Jesus the way he said it. Not I think the way I'm looking at it. What I studied in so and so my experience, what my pastor told me, the things there are. There is a place we are going to read. In Matthew, chapter 13, the Bible said Jesus came to a crowd and was preaching to them. And the Bible said that Jesus deliberately covered everything, spoke everything. He was speaking in parables so that they will not understand. When the apostles now went to him in the secret and said, ah, an opportunity like this with this large crowd. You should have just told these things in simple language for them to understand. He said, it is given to you who are inside to know the truth. But they it is not. That is why I speak to them. In what parables? So that they will not understand. They went ahead and Jesus went ahead and displayed. He said their ears are what blocked what blocked their ears? Their education, their religion, what their father told them, what their pastor told them. Anything. Your pastor, your father, your church, your denomination says that is not exactly what the apostles understood it to be and preached it in the word of God. That thing is a lie. And every lie is of the what Devil? Every lie is of the devil. The Bible says Romans 3, 4. Let God alone be true. Every other person is a lie. Every other person is a liar. Only God is the truth. And God has interpreted it in the life and the ministry of the apostles on this earth as an example for us. So it is not the way you think. It is not subject to your private interpretation. It is the way the Holy Spirit said it should be. He is the owner of the church. You don't own it. Look at verse 16. But Jesus called them unto him and said, suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God. Look at verse 17. Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no Wise, enter therein. You cannot enter. You cannot enter. That's the truth. If you are not ready to make yourself a little child, if you are showing God, you are matured. You have gone to education, you have gone primary, done secondary, done university. You have gone to Bible college, you have gone to seminary. You have done this, you have done that. You have just. You are listing what qualifies you not to enter into the kingdom of God. The same Luke. Let's see, Luke 18. That same Luke 18. Let's see, 18 to 30. That same chapter. And a certain ruler asked him, saying, good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, why call it thou me good? None is good save one. That is God. You see, the person speaking is who? The person speaking is who? Jesus. And Jesus is who God. But you see, when you are not inside, when you are not an insider, you are not a believer. You are not within the circle of believers. His duty is to speak to his parables. Look at what he told this man, a rich ruler. He said, only God is good. Why are you calling me God? Why are you calling me good? Only God is good. This invariably tells this man that he is not God. Amen. But he that is speaking is the physical manifestation of that invisible God beside him. There is no other God beside who is speaking here now. There is no other God. Bible said in Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9, that the totality of everything called God is inside you. Bible said everything about everything you call God is inside who? But here he's telling a man, why are you calling me God? Rich man, rich fool. You don't want it? Now why are you calling me good? Only God is good. Giving him a suggestion that is not God, even when he is. Even when he is. His obligation is to tell those that are believers, those that he is God. He knows those that will that are going to believe. He knows those that their hearts are eager and ready and yearning to accept it. This man, educated man, a wealthy rich man, worthy man, came to him and said, good Master, what shall I do to have eternal life? He came to put him to test the Almighty God. Now put him to a very good test and dealt with him. That man escaped that place by whiskers. When he left, he didn't know. He was embarrassed. Let's go through the conversation. And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? None is good save one. That is God. Thou knowest the commandments. He is now diverting his attention to what are you now seeing it instead of showing him the way to the kingdom. He knows. This man asking this question has not come to know the truth. He is not seeking to know it. He is not seeking to believe it. He doesn't have a heart that will receive it. Even if I tell him, he will not believe. So why am I suffering? In the book of Matthew, chapter six, he began the message. He said, don't give what is meant for. For children. To what? To pigs. Don't. He was teaching the Pharisees. He said, what is meant for the people that are my children. We don't give it to pigs. We give you so that you chop. Yes, he knows that this man has come to put him to test. He knows there is no sincerity to know the truth. There is no willingness to accept it. So look at how he's going to now deal with him. Thou knowest the commandments. Number one. Do not commit adultery. Number two. Do not kill. Number three. Do not steal. Number four. Do not be a false witness. Number five. Honor thy Father and thy Mother. Exodus, chapter 20, verse 22. Now, when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him. No. Verse 21. Sorry. And the man said, all these have I kept from my youth up. So you can see. Who is this man? Who is this man? That is the man that came to Jesus. Who is he? Look at. Look at his answer. Religious man. A religious man. What? What, What? What were they calling those days? No, it's a Pharisee. It is the Pharisees that will tell you that we have kept all those. We have kept everything by this question, by this answer. You know who is calling and you know why Jesus is giving him this nonsense. Jesus is feeding him with the thing he need. He's giving him overdose of jargons, the laws of Moses. Since you claim to be wise. Now he has turned around to say all these things I have been keeping from my childhood. That tells you that this is a Pharisee. A religious man of the highest order. Now look at verse 22. Jesus. Now, when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, yet. Yet lacketh thou one thing you are still lacking. One thing. Sell all that thou has and distribute unto the poor. And thou shalt have treasure in heaven. And you come and you follow me. Sell everything you have, rich Pharisee. You have kept all the laws of Moses. You have done everything Moses said. Now I give you another one. Sell everything you have give to the poor so that your treasures will be in heaven. Then come and follow me. Let me ask you a question. If this man were to Sell all these things and give to the poor. Will he still get it? No. See, let me tell you, to be very frank with you, the way to the kingdom of God is just clear. Seek ye the kingdom of God. Jesus said, I am the door. No one. If you sell everything you have, give to the poor. If you have not, if you have not believed the truth of the gospel, you will surely perish and will not have that promise of eternal life in God's kingdom. So if this man were to do all these things and fail to believe him, look at what he told him when you finish all these things. He didn't just say, selu, pay attention to his message. He says, sell, give to, report. Treasures will be in heaven. It's not yet enough. So Jesus is saying to this man, even if you sell everything, give to the poor, it is still not enough. You must still come and do what follow. This is very deep. You must still come to follow me. You will do all these things. You will obey all these laws. It is not worth enough. You must follow. You must abide. You must believe in the only one. The Bible said, this is the work of God, that you believe in him whom God has sent. That's all. This is the will of God that everyone that seeth the sun and believeth in him shall have everlasting life. He didn't say that everyone that keepeth all the laws of Moses, that everyone that sell his belongings give out to the poor shall have eternal life. Did he say so? This is God's will. This is the will of my Father. That everyone who seeth his son believeth in him shall have everlasting life. The life that Jesus is offering is the life that is in him. And you can only activate it in your life by believing in him. This is very deep. And when he has said and when he heard this, he was very sorrowful, for he was very rich. The Bible said the man was very rich. So when he has had. When he had this, he was very, very sorrowful. Praise God, he was very sorrowful. And then what happened? Because he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, hey. How hardly shall. How hardly shall they that have riches enter the kingdom of God? How hardly for they that have riches enter the kingdom of God. For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. I heard somebody say, neighbor, as a matter of fact, much, much earlier in time, when I. When I go through these days, I get a friend. Don't even look at it a second time. Each time you remember that you have a little wealth, you are. You are put to a very great fear. When you see that these things are said of a people that are rich, but just go through them. Just let's go. You see? You see, the truth is not as it is there. Salvation is for everybody. For the rich, for the poor and there. And for it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they that had it said, who then can be saved? Then that had it said, who then can be saved? So if this man will still have, after obeying all the laws, so now keeping all the laws will still not take you into the kingdom of God. Even in addition to that, if you sell everything you have give to the poor, yet you cannot still get it. You still have to come and do what? Follow Jesus. And they said, who then can be saved? And he said, now Jesus said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God. The things which are impossible on the surface, it is not possible for a rich man. It is not possible. It is difficult for a rich man to make it to heaven. It is difficult for a rich man to assess the kingdom of God. It is not possible. I mean, it is difficult, but it is not impossible. It is difficult, but it is not impossible. What makes it impossible? What makes it possible? What makes it possible? The Bible said it is difficult. The Bible says what is impossible with man is possible with God. But let me take you down a little trip away. In Luke, chapter one, verse 35, Mary was approached by angel. Who? Gabriel. Gabriel brought good news about the coming of the Messiah. The coming of one, a holy one who will be called Jesus. And Gabriel told Mary that God's plan is that he is coming through you. And Mary said to the angel, I am a virgin. How come it is not possible for I am a virgin. What you are saying is impossible because I am a virgin. Exactly the same impossibility we have met here. What did the angel tell him? The angel told him that because it's impossible. No problem that no more. No. The angel said in verse 35, I have heard that you said it's impossible. I know it's impossible for a woman who is a virgin to have a baby and give birth to a son. I know it's impossible. Mary, I understand what you are saying. By education is impossible. By her religion is impossible. By experience is impossible. But let me tell you verse 35. The Holy Ghost will come down and the power of the Most High God will overshadow you. And when this thing happens, that thing that is impossible becomes what possible? He said, mary, I have heard you, by education, by your religion, by your sanctity, by your chastity. You cannot carry a baby because you are a virgin. We understand. We are dealing with God. Now listen, when the power. We say the power, the Holy Ghost will do what will come down. And the power of the Most High God. He said, when the. When God comes down, what. What you think is what impossible becomes what possible. So for the rich men out there in the world, it is not a blanket darkness. It is not a blanket state of hopelessness. There is hope for them if they can trust him who made it possible in the life of her Mary, if they can trust him and believe him. Believing Jesus makes impossibility. What possible? Believing Jesus in your life, it makes what is impossible. When you believe the gospel, that thing that they say is impossible, it becomes what he said. Mary, I know. I know you will tell me it's impossible. By every standard of what you are used to is impossible. But I have good news for you. Somebody will come down. The Holy Ghost will come down, and the power of the Most High God will overshadow you. Mary, when this thing happens, everything you say is impossible. It becomes possible. A rich man can ordinarily not enter the kingdom of God, but when he believes the Almighty God and him whom he has sent in Jesus Christ, he activates the power that makes impossibility. What possible? If the impossibility in Mary was made possible, it is possible that when you believe Christ, when you believe the truth, that which is impossible becomes what possible. And he said, and then Peter, verse 28. Then Peter said, lo, we have left all and followed thee. That's the voice of the fisherman, verse 29. And he said unto them, verily I say unto you, there is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife or children for the kingdom of God's sake. There is no man that had left house or parents, or brethren, or wife or children for the kingdom's sake, who shall not receive manifold more in this present time and in the world to come, life everlasting. There is nobody that will leave father, leave mother. Jesus is not saying, you leave your father, leave your mother. He is giving you an illustration. The central thing there is that you follow him. Nobody will follow him in this life. He said, you will get more, much more in this present what life. And even in the world to come, everlasting life. Amen. So, brethren, it is important that we ask ourselves this question tonight. Are we truly believers in the Lord Jesus? Are we seeking his kingdom first? Or are we just playing religion with the religious people that we met on this earth? Are we just taking religious teachings that make us look as if we are believers, but we are not believers? Religion makes you look as if you are a believer, but you are not a believer. Religion gives you, teaches you what you must do to get eternal life. You will do this, you will not do this. Thou shalt not do this. Thou shall not do this. But the faith of the Lord Jesus teaches. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Thou shalt know the ye shall know the truth. The truth shall set you free. What sets a man free is not any other thing but the truth of the gospel. Believing the truth is the ultimate requirement for eternal life. You are not required to observe any religion. That's why religious activities, religious groups and congregations, they load you with a common load of activity. You come on Sunday, you come on Monday in the morning, you then Monday in the evening, Tuesday, you do this prior for choir, this for the activities up and down. At the end of the day, somebody is just being kept busy 24 hours, completely distracted, completely absentminded from what is required of him to earn and get the kingdom of God. Jesus met religious people in his own day and he rebuked them and said, you don't want to enter the kingdom of God and you don't want those. You don't want others to enter. You make it difficult by what you teach. You make it difficult for people to enter what you are teaching. Are you keeping it? Jesus wants you to know today he came that you may believe in him and have eternal life. Salvation is available to you. Tonight God is making salvation available to whosoever is ready to accept the simple message of salvation by Jesus Christ. Believing his message is your ticket to eternal life. Rejecting any of his message is your ticket to eternal destruction. God is saying, I have not come with the ten laws of Moses or the 613 laws of the people of Israel. I have come with eternal life. John 1:17. Moses came with the law. Jesus came with truth and grace. If you believe this truth, you have access to this grace by faith. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. God tonight wants you to take a deep look into what you have been doing as a believer and ask yourself, all this lie all these years is the word of is the kingdom of God. A priority? Or are you camouflaging with other religious people with religious activities as a child of God? Tonight, God wants you from now to set your priority right. Let your priority be God's priority in your life. Let it be the kingdom, his kingdom and nothing else. His kingdom and his righteousness is not your righteousness. It is God's own righteousness. You cannot end your righteousness. Righteousness. First Corinthians chapter 1, verse 30 is a gift. It's not something you can achieve. Your Bible says it's a gift. When you believe in the Lord Jesus, he gives you a gift. A gift of what? Righteousness is a gift. First Corinthians 1:30 is not something you can work out by yourself. It's not something you can attain. Religion has kept people in darkness and in bondage, teaching what they cannot even observe, keeping people away from the kingdom of God. God tonight is calling you. Set your priority right now. Bring down all these your needs and let your ultimate need be the kingdom of God and his righteousness. The Bible said every other thing shall be added. He that promised is capable of doing it. The Bible said to them that believe there shall be a performance of that which is promised. Shall we pray? Hallelujah. Breathe on me so D I am God. Be still and know that I am God. Be still and know that I am God. I am the Lord the lead. I am the Lord. I am the Lord the lead. In thee, O Lord, I put my trust. In thee, O Lord, I put my trust. In thee, O Lord, I put my trust. I am the Lord the leader. I am the Lord the leader. I am the Lord the leader. Be still and know that I am God. Be still. I know that I am God. Be still. I know that I am God. Be still and know that I am God. Be still. I know that I am God. Be still and know that I am God. Be still and know that Jesus is God in your life. Halt your movements immediately and take a serious introspection check. Are you setting the kingdom of God in your life as a priority? Is God's priority your priority? Or are you enumerating prayer points like the pagans of this world? Religious pagans, pagan Christians who do not believe him, who is the husbandman of the church? Who is the head of the church? Are you among those who have been indoctrinated into believing that you can use. You have to use your initiative to initiate your prayer points. Pray it out, say it out, read it out in all your prayers. Is that your mood? So tonight Jesus has spoken to you and is telling you. My son, my daughter, my plan for you is not for you to lead. Be still and know that he is God. Be still and know that Jesus is God in your life. Allow him to lead, Allow him to guide. Allow him to be in charge. Trust and trust in him and nothing else. Put your priorities right. Let his kingdom be your priority. Almighty and ever living God, as we hear this word tonight, we are indeed touched by your word. And we say, lord, by the entrance of this world, give us. You have given us an opportunity for us to make right our ways. Give us the grace, Lord. Lord, each and every one of us, young and old, small and big, rich and poor, to have a serious inward search to reorder our priorities according to your instructions, according to your word, according to the gospel. Let us align ourselves with the truth of the gospel. As, as we do this, Lord, let there be a performance of that which is promised in our respective lives. We are trusting you, O Lord, by believing in you and seeking only your kingdom and your righteousness. As we do this, Lord, we are believing, as the Bible teaches us, that you will provide for all our needs according to your riches in glory. Because the Bible said to them that believe there shall be a performance of that which is promised. Be it done unto us according to your word tonight, because we truly believe. Give us, each and every one of us, the grace to believe this gospel, the grace to accept it, the grace to abide in it, the grace to trust in it, and the grace to build our faith in it. And as we do so, Lord, may we, as we do so, we look forward to the fulfillment of all your promises in our lives. In Jesus name, Amen. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Do you have bring. Praise God Almighty and ever living God. We want to observe the memorial, the memorial of your death. Two thousand years ago, you offered yourself as a substitutionary sacrifice on our behalf on the cross of Calvary, on the very night of your submission to death, in the historic supper that you observed with the saints in the upper room, you presented them with the plate of unleavened bread. You broke it, gave thanks and said unto them, eat this, all of you. This is my body which will be given unto you. Do this in memory of me. The church, right from that right from the hearts of the apostles, kept your word in obedience to your instruction. We saw it in First Corinthians 11, we saw it in Acts 27, showing that the church actually kept and observed all that you taught. Showing that the church observed the memorial of your death, Lord Jesus, tonight, in continuation of the apostolic teaching and practice, we present tonight this cup, this bowel of unleavened bread, and we ask that you bless it. May we eat it, not to satisfy our hunger, but in remembrance of the greatest sacrifice ever made in the history of mankind. Let us remember tonight that substitutionary sacrifice where you became a sinner and we on whose behalf you died, became the righteousness of God. As we remember it tonight. Our prayer is that this the very reason why you died. The promises made to the saints as a result of your death and all the inheritance of the saints as a result of your death. May they all be our portion, both now and forever. In Jesus name, Amen. It almighty and ever living God, the continuation of the table of the saints, we present tonight this cup of red wine. Lord, we do this in remembrance and in memorial of the shedding of your blood on the cross of Calvary 2000 years ago for the remission of our sins. The Bible teaches us in the book of Hebrews, chapter 8, verse 28, that without the shedding of your blood there would be no remission for our sins. And that's why the Bible said if we don't believe in you, we die in our sins, Lord, in remembrance of that great sacrifice, one of the greatest sacrifices ever made in the history of mankind. In remembrance of it, we present tonight this cup of red wine. We ask that you bless it. May we drink it in remembrance of your blood shed for us and for all believers for the remission of our sins. As we do this our prayer, Lord, tonight. Is that the very reason why you shed his blood? The very blessings to the saints as a result of their blood and all the inheritance of the saints as a result of your blood. May they be our portion, along with all the saints, both now and forever. In Jesus name we pray. Almighty and ever living God, we thank you. We have come to the end of our faith fellowship and want to thank you for giving us the opportunity, the privilege indeed to gather. The Bible said we should forsake not the assembly of brethren. Lord, may we not live here the same way we came in. May we remember all that has been said. The devil will want to pick up all that has been said and uproot them from our hearts. But we trust that you will by your grace, sustain the word in our hearts and ring it to our hearing and our remembrance so that we keep to it, observe it, believe the truth of the gospel for our eternal salvation through Christ Jesus, Lord, we have no power of our own to provide salvation for us that is why we are trusting you.
