UNVEILING THE MYSTERY OF HOW THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL COME.
By some persons to actually talk about how the kingdom of God started, how it was inaugurated as a kingdom. There has to be a day when it will be said. It was the day it started. And this is going to be the cross of my presentation tonight. Our presentation tonight will be on the topic the unveiling of the mystery of how the kingdom of God will come. The unveiling of the mystery of how the kingdom of God will come. A lot has been said about the kingdom of God. A lot has been talked about. All that Jesus preached for three and a half years on this earth was just about this topic. Everything that John the Baptist did was about this topic. Everything that the apostles did were expositions about this very topic, the kingdom of God. And it's important that we ask ourselves, do we have an idea of what and how this kingdom will come? In Matthew chapter 6, verse 9 to 10, we are told about a prayer pattern by Jesus Christ saying, when you pray, say, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come. This prayer has been said over the church over the years. How this kingdom will come. Do you have an idea when it comes? Do you have any clue of how to know when it comes? And this is essentially the reason why up to today the world is still engulfed with the continued recitation of this particular prayer. Our Father, he said, after this manner, therefore pray here. Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Yes, thy Kingdom Come, verse 10. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The question is, when this kingdom comes, how do we know what are the signs? Did Jesus give us any sign? Was any sign left for us? How do we know when this kingdom will come? And so, today's presentation is directed at unveiling an exposition for an understanding of how the kingdom of God will come. So that when you see these things unfolding, when you see these things, the scripture will show us, you will know, the kingdom of God has come. And this is why we decided to actually make this presentation. We have to apologize for some hitches glitches in our network, in our presentations because of one or two problems. We are working seriously on making our presentations completely error proof and free from every glitch. For now, we will make do what we have. The question is, how will the kingdom of God come? In other words, when was this kingdom inaugurated? If anybody says it has come, when was it? When did it come? When was it inaugurated? How did it unfold? How did it come? How did it happen? Where did it happen? The book of Luke chapter 17, verse 20-21, is very instructive on this particular subject. There, the Pharisees took Jesus up. Please take note. The people that originated this particular question are the Pharisees. The Pharisees, they are not the apostles. They are not. But the Pharisees, they are the people that actually originated this question. And they said to Jesus, when will the kingdom of God come? He said, no, no, no. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, the kingdom of God cometh not with observations. This inquiry, this inquisition was raised by the Pharisees. And in answer to that query, Jesus replied, the kingdom of God cometh not with observations. Let's see, verse 21. Neither shall they say, oh here or oh there. For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. I know you have come across this particular scripture. I know you have had occasion to hear about it. I know you must have gotten one or two interpretations concerning this particular topic. But this is the time for you to test what you have been learning. Now is a time for you to relearn and unlearn what you have been learning. If you inquire closely, you will discover the people that ask these questions are the Pharisees. They are not the apostles. They are not the disciples of the Lord Jesus. They are strangers to this kingdom. As far as this kingdom is concerned. They are strangers to the kingdom. And they asked, when? Give us verse 20, please give us verse 20. And they asked. They demanded, or the Pharisees demanded when the kingdom of God should come. That is, they wanted to know when, just like everybody here or everybody out there is very, very agitated to know, has he come? If he has come, when did he come? If he has not come, when will it come? This was the preoccupation of the Pharisees in this particular episode when the kingdom of God should come. And Jesus answered and said, the kingdom of God does not come with observations. So, it's important that we take notes of the obvious. He said, it does not come with. With observations. Secondly, he said, you cannot go there. Somebody cannot say, lo, it is there, or low it is here. Give us verse 20. Give us verse 20. I mean, verse 21. Neither shall they say, low here or low there. For the kingdom of God is within you. The topic is the unveiling of the mystery of the kingdom of God. Anytime you hear of mystery. And if you look at. When Jesus was talking about his kingdom In Matthew, chapter 13, verse 11, he used this word mystery. Not just mystery, but mysteries. Matthew 13:11. He replied, because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Give me King James Version. Niv says the secrets. King James Version he answered and said unto them, because he's given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Now, Jesus is the one that used this word concerning to describe the kingdom. He said, because the mysteries underline the word mysteries. What is a mystery? A mystery has been misunderstood to be something that is difficult to understand. No. Something that is obscure. No. Something that is esoteric. No. Something that is gray. No. Something that is maybe confusing. No. But this is the general perception about kingdom. I mean, mysteries. People take it to be. People understand it to be something that is difficult. So they feel that for them to understand it as something that is difficult, they need a teacher, maybe the Bible college or a seminary, to actually dissect this particular topic or thing. They need an exegesis. Unfortunately, the word kingdom, mysteries does not mean obscure, does not mean gray. It does not mean mysterious. It does not mean confusing. It does not mean maybe esoteric. It means it is a. It means that that thing is a secret. I don't know whether you got me. I'm saying mystery. That is why Niv in. In its translation used secrets instead of mysteries. Niv says, because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. So, I am concerned about these mysteries. Mystery means secret. Another name for mystery is secrets. Another name for mystery is hidden. Another name for mystery is concealed. A mystery is something that is hidden. A mystery is something that is kept secret. Now the question is, hold on. Who kept it secret? Who made it secret? Who kept it secret? Who is hiding it? Is it you and I? No. Who then is hiding it? Somebody is hiding it. The person hiding it is the king of the kingdom. The owner of the kingdom does not want everybody to know the mystery or the mysteries of the kingdom. And that is why he made it a mystery. He made it a secret. He made it. He had to hide it. He concealed it. So for anyone to know the meaning of these secrets, the meaning of these mysteries, he must go to him. You must have a recourse to the fountain. It's only the fountain that can tell you the meaning of what was meant in any of these mysteries. Now take a look again at that particular chapter. I mean, chapter 13, verse 11. Jesus called it mysteries. Mysteries. In other words, it is not one thing that is hidden, not two that is hidden. Everything about this kingdom is hidden on purpose by he that owns this kingdom. It is hidden so that only those who are within will be given the understanding to know the meaning of the mysteries, the understanding of the secrets of the kingdom. That is why our brother who wrote the book of Deuteronomy, Deuteronomy 29:29, declared the secret things belongs to the Lord our God. The secret things you see? Secret things. It belongs to the Lord our God. But the things revealed belongs to us and to our children forever. That we may know, that we may follow all the ways of this Lord. How does a mystery become unveiled? How does a mystery become unveiled? How does God unveil the mystery? How does God unveil the mystery? God unveils the mystery of. By means of revelation. By means of revelation. Take a look at that. Chapter 29, verse 29. The secret things of the Lord. The secret things belong to the Lord our God. When it is a secret, only one person knows it, and that's our God. But the things revealed belongs to us and to our children forever. If it is not revealed, it remains a secret. So a question is these mysteries? Has there been a revelation of the mysteries? The Bible says that Jesus, after that particular, very laborious sermon on the sea, he retreated into his apartment and his apostles and disciples followed him and said, master, why would you choose to speak on a topic like this, as sensitive as it is, as important as the kingdom of God? And you are giving it to them in parables that will be confusing. He said, it is so. So that it is so. Because to you who are within, it is given to know the secrets or mysteries of the kingdom. To those who are without, they will be given only parables. So, the question is, has Jesus or God revealed. Has Jesus or God revealed these mysteries to the apostles? Has he revealed these mysteries to the church? Did he reveal it to the apostles? Did he reveal it to his disciples? We are going to look at scriptures now. Because one of these mysteries was dropped in the book of Luke, chapter 17, 22, 21. Where the Pharisees, these people, who are these Pharisees? They are outside, Remember, they are not. They are not among those within the house. They are neither the apostles nor the disciples of the Lord Jesus. They asked him, when will the kingdom of God come? When will this kingdom. How will this kingdom come? And he answered, the kingdom of God does not cometh. Not by observation. Cometh not with observation. The kingdom of God cometh not with observation. Which means there is no physical sign that will show you that the kingdom of God has come or is coming. So if you are expecting maybe the moon or the star or the sun to change their colors, you are making a mistake. Look at Jesus now. What is important to ask ourselves? Is there a mystery about this thing that he said? Is there any secret meaning? Because, wait a minute, he is speaking to the Pharisees. He is talking to those whom he said in Matthew, chapter 13, verse 11, that it is not meant for them to understand. They are the people to whom he was giving this message. So, the question is, what he gave them? Is it exactly? Is the meaning on the surface of that? Or is it. Does it mean a totally? Is the meaning beyond what the ordinary literal words are portraying? Very, very important. Very, very important. And the answer is yes. The meaning of what Jesus gave these people is not available on the surface. It will require a revelation for anybody to be able to assess the truth of what Jesus meant there. And this is why the world up to today. If I ask you now, what does your church, what does your Christian denomination, what does your Christian religious group, what does your seminary, what does your Bible college teach about? Luke, chapter 17 verse 20-21. You will tell me, obviously, the general views out there, that the kingdom of God is within the people, that the kingdom of God is neither there nor here, but within the people, the believers. That is the general conclusion. That is what is on the surface, what they can pick on the surface. But ask yourself if that could, if that should, if that would be the meaning. Is it. Is Jesus telling the Pharisees who have not yet believed the truth, that the kingdom of God is in them? Can the kingdom of God be in them who are not yet believers, who are just asking questions to put him to test, to find out whether his answers will align with the laws of Moses, with the traditions and teachings of the rabbis and the scribes. The question is no. What he gave them is a mystery. What he gave them is a secret. That mystery requires a revelation. The secret things belong to our Lord our God. But when it is revealed, so it has to be revealed for it to be made known. It has to be revealed. When Peter, speaking for and on behalf of all the apostles, answered as Caesarea Philippi in the discourse at Caesarea Philippi, he said, thou art Christ, the son of the living God, he said, peter, I mean, Simon Barjona, flesh and blood have not revealed this unto you, but my Father in heaven Jesus underscored the fact Peter could not have made this particular answer correctly by his head knowledge. I just wonder how somebody came on this earth to establish a kingdom that we rule the whole world, that will overcome and overpower the core kingdoms of the world and the people he will be choosing to be his first 11 will be fishermen, illiterate fishermen. So, you don't. There is nothing you should expect from this man, Peter. And that was why Jesus said flesh and blood had not revealed this the first place. He didn't go to any school. You are illiterate. But my Father in heaven. You see, everything about this kingdom, everything about this kingdom is enshrouded in mysteries. That mystery remains a secret with the Lord our God alone. But when it is revealed, it becomes available. It is made available to the church. It is revealed only to those who are within. It's not revealed to the world. The world will continue to hold and jealously guard their false notions, false ideas, false understanding of what that means. It does not mean what they mean. It does not mean what they say. The kingdom of God cannot be residing in the Pharisees. No, they are unbelievers. John the Baptist, called the brood of vipers. They have no share in the kingdom, the traditions of the laws, the traditions of their ancestors. They have, over the years, developed a lot of trouble, traditional religious beliefs that ended up blocking their ears, blocking their eyes, blocking their mind, blocking their hearts, making them inaccessible to the truth of the kingdom of God. And so put beside you now confined to the dustbin. That notion, that idea you got from the Bible college you got from your religious group, you got from your own seminary, you got from your own Bible college. Put it beside you. Incline your ears now to the apostles. To them was given the understanding of the mysteries of the kingdom of God. To those who are not with them. What was given to them was ordinary parables. Were ordinary parables. When the meaning was revealed, it was revealed to them alone. Check your scriptures now. We have established that mysteries are secrets. Mysteries are hidden. Mysteries are concealed, concealed by no other one, by God. And you ask me, why would God be concealing it? That is his purpose. He serves his purpose, his divine purpose, that he will conceal it. He said in Matthew 11:27, no one knows my Father except me, as to whomever I will reveal him to. And no one knows me except my father. And to whomsoever my father will reveal me to is a boast. You cannot. Don't make any mistake. Don't say it's not possible. Don't Say, is it not ordinary words? AI cannot decode it. There is no instrument you can use that will unravel the secrets. What God hid by himself no man can uncover, takes God and God alone. Look at what Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:3 to 5. Ephesians 3:3, 5. That is the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. Have you seen it? He said the mystery was made known to him by what revelation confirming what was written in Deuteronomy 29:29. The secret things belongs to our Lord our God. But what is, when it is revealed, it is made available to us and our children that we may follow the law. How that by revelation. King James Version how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery as I wrote afore in few words. How that, by what revelation? The person speaking was a lawyer, fully trained, is an initiate in the law. In the. In the law or in the Judaic law, that is the laws of Moses. Trained, certificated, is a licentiate of that particular law profession. But here he's telling you he had abandoned the traditions of his people, abandoned the teachings of the law, abandoned the professorial knowledge that he has acquired about these things. He went to God. He said, how that by revelation, not by any person. If you go through his work in the Book of Galatia, chapter one, he will tell you that I did not go to Peter, I did not go to anyone to teach me that the Lord Jesus that called me revealed himself unto me. Don't play with this word revelation, because when God wants to blind you, he will give you parables and you will be quoting it with a lot of. With a lot of. A lot of vocabulary, thinking you know it, but you don't. You see, those that know it are telling you we got it. By what revelation? How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery. Did you see it? That's a mystery. For it to be revealed, for it to be made known. You don't go to Bible. Don't say, I don't understand it. You can't even on your own read it. You don't go to the mountains. You don't say, let me fast for 30 days and 30 nights. 40 days and 40 nights. You will develop ulcer, yet you will not know it. Ulcer may even likely kill you, yet you will not know it. You need him. You need him. The king of the king of the. The king of kings, the owner of the house. You need him. Everybody needs him. Even if I teach you this now, and you are not made to know it. Your mind must be hardened. Your heart must be hardened against it. You have one reason, either from what you studied with your fellowship, or to disbelieve it. So now pay attention. Look at he. How that by Revelation he made known unto me the mystery as I wrote in few words. Yes. Verse four. Whereby when you. When ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. This one is the mystery of Christ. Yes. Verse 5. Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. The people that got it, how did they get it? By Revelation you can. There is no means. Nobody on this earth can teach you these things if he did not get it by this means, if it's by Bible college and all these. Look, run away. You better denounce that thing you are believing because it's not the truth. And what will set you free, the last time I checked, is not religion. It's not any other things but the truth. Let's see. 1st Corinthians 2:10 to 14. 1st Corinthians 2:10-14. These are the things God has revealed to us by His Spirit. Give me King James. But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit. But God, you see, is still underlining the same thing. Each of them is telling you how they got it. Anytime they are touching about these mysteries, they are telling you. They are confessing how they got it. Every one of them. By Revelation, everyone will tell you how he got it. These men did not have Bible college. They did not. And let me inform you that as far back, the prophets of balls were attending bible colleges and seminaries. Go and read your Bible. So don't tell me that as in their time, there was no Bible college, no Bible college has been as old as the Jewish religion. Because the moment they denominated that message of Moses, the moment that message was denominated, the moment that message was apostatized, they began to develop different versions of what Moses taught. And they began to now go away from the tradition set by Moses on how they will learn it and develop. Now, Bible colleges and seminaries, those 400 prophets of Baal that engaged and confronted Prophet Elijah in that great encounter, they were all products of seminary. A seminary where they were taught prophecy, where they were taught speaking in tongues. What they did that day, in case you don't know, go back there. What they did that day was speaking in tongues. I mean, speaking in not it is the version of speaking in tongues that people speak today. They raved. They spoke incoherently out of desperation for their God to hear them. They raved in very meaningless language. That is what people do today. And they call it speaking in tongues. Probably before we end of this program, you will know exactly what speaking in tongues means. You will know exactly what speaking in tongues for the saints means. It does not mean speaking the gibberish, the razzmatters that people do today, the repetitive bunkum that people speak today. What people speak and people from other languages will be as bemused as the people that are. Even from the very language of the person speaking that is not speaking in tongues. That thing was spoken in the Old Testament, so don't say, but now that. Why can't people go to Bible college? People are not required to go to all these things to learn the truth. You are required to go to God. He is the one that will teach you. He is the one that the Church wandered away from the Holy Spirit. This is why the Spirit of God was sent purposely to teach the Church. Ask yourself, who taught Paul? Who taught Peter? If you say Paul was educated before, who taught Peter? Who taught James? Who taught Philip? Who taught Nathaniel? Who taught Jude? Who taught them the Scriptures? It is the Holy Spirit that's the teacher. Look at it there. Say, But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit. For the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Yes. 11. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the Spirit of man which is in him. Even so the things of God knoweth no man, no man can know it. Things of God but the Spirit of God. Verse 12. Now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13. Which things also we speak not in words. Which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth. Comparing spiritual things with spiritual verse 14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. The Scripture is totalitarian on this point. We must resort to the Holy Spirit. That is what God gave us to teach us. When the Church grieved the Holy Spirit, they said they thought in his absence. They can go to Bible colleges, they can study these things in the universities, study these things in different levels of education and know it. I've seen professors in different fields of this Christian Religion who don't know the truth. They all know. You can't know it. Confirming what Samuel Coleridge said. Water, Water. Everywhere and not a drop to drink. Professor. Professor. Everywhere and not a word of prophecy. You cannot learn it by prophesying or by going to become a professor in it. Only Christ can teach. Christ that taught these things himself knew it by the spirit of God in him. He did not go to any school. And that is one of the confusing points, the astonishing point that made him an enigma to the scholars of his day, to the professors of his day. Let us see. Daniel. Daniel, chapter 2, verse 22. Daniel, chapter 2, verse 22. Daniel himself complained. Daniel himself made it very clear. He said he revealed the deep and secret things. He knoweth what is in the darkness and the light dwelleth with him. Daniel made a confession here to the man, the great man Nebuchadnezzar. He made it clear it is God that revealed the deep and secret things. They are magicians. They are necromancers. We are astrologers. We are sorcerers. We are soothsayers. We are diviners. We are familiar spirits. They cannot unravel these things. There is a level to which they cannot go. It takes God to reveal secrets. Now we have established that these things are done by revelation. Now let us now approach the topic gradually. And let's see. Matthew 13:34 to 35. Matthew 13:34. 35. Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables. He spoke all these things to the crowd in parables. Why? Why? He's deliberate. He did not say anything to them without using a parable. Is on purpose. Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is a master. Is the master. He is a master dribbler. A topic was taught to a large crowd composed of both his disciples and the crowd of Pharisees. And he taught the crowd in parables. But when he retired into his room, he carefully downloaded and decoded the whole secrets to his apostles and disciples. Verse 35. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet. I will open my mouth in parables. I will utter things hidden. Did you see it? I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world. Who hid it? God. Why? For his purpose. If you follow me, you will see the purpose. That's a prophecy in the Old Testament. So, what Jesus was doing, in case you are wondering, is it proper? Is it not unfair? That is prophetic. I will open my mouth in parables. I will utter things hidden since the world began, since the creation of the world. He will utter it in parables to a crowd who will be definitely enthusiastic, astonished and excited. Yet they will laugh home, rejoice home, going home with parables. They will not know the meaning, but when his own goes in, he will tell them the secret version of now you see the way Jesus carefully treated the crowd. He treated the crowd in a way that those people who are the entire crowd was giving it in parable. He was giving to them in parables. When he now retired to his secret apartment, he now revealed to them exactly what he meant for you to see it. See verse 10 to 15. That same chapter, the disciples came to him and asked, why do you speak to the people in parables? This conversation is now going on inside his apartment. It is a surprise to the disciples for him to speak on such a very important topic as this in parables. Because parables are meant to cover up. Parables are not proverbs. Parables are not proverbs. Parables are not illustrations. Parables are a special mood, a special way of couching a story, to cover the meaning from the ordinary surface of what is spoken, to hide it beneath. Jesus was a master in it. Disciples came to him and asked, why are they not supposed to know this? Why do you speak to the people in Parables? Verse 11. He replied, because the knowledge of the secrets. Because mysteries? What secrets? The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. If this answer is not enough, I don't know what you mean. I don't know what else to tell you. God has classified the world into two camps. One camp, the camp of those who are within the camp of those who are inside. Inside what? The camp of those who are taught by him who are believers, the camp of believers and non-believers. The other camp, the camp of unbelievers, is given to the camp of the those in the camp of believers to know the mysteries of the kingdom. But to those who are not in the camp is given to them as what mysteries? I mean parables. Now, verse 12. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have even what they have will be taken from them. Verse 13. This is why I speak to them in parables. Though seeing, they do not see. Though hearing, they do not hear or understand. Yes. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah. You will be ever hearing, but never understanding. You will be ever seen, but never perceiving. Yes. For these people's heart has become calloused. They hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed Their eyes. Otherwise, they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and I will heal them. How can you explain that these people who came to hear Jesus are now being said, God is talking of them, that they close their eyes, but their eyes were open and they came. Their physical eyes were open, but their spiritual eyes were blind. Blinded. Their minds, their hearts were all blinded. Blinded with what? Traditions of men, religious teachings? What the Pharisees and the Sadducees, what the scribes have taught over the years, have become an encumbrance, an impediment, an impairment. It has become a veil beyond which they can no longer understand. That is why Jesus said, of what use is it speaking to them in plain language about the kingdom when their mind and their hearts are covered with false teachings? The only thing that is befitting for them is to give them these things in parables. For these people's heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart and should be converted, and I should heal them. This is a reason. Now let's get back to that. Having understood these things, it is now clear that. That for us to know it, we must go by what it must be. By what revelation? The question is, has it been revealed to the apostles? The Scriptures are not subject to private interpretation. You don't say. In my opinion, what I understand it to be is not subject to private interpretation. For you to understand it, you must incline your ears to the teachings of the Holy Spirit who taught the apostles in the church in the. In the first century. Let's go and see what he taught them. But looking at that particular passage In Luke chapter 17, it's obvious that the Spirit, that the kingdom of God cannot be dwelling or indwelling in the Pharisees because they are the people. They are unbelievers. They are not among those within. They are not among the apostles, nor the disciples of Jesus Christ, to whom the knowledge is freely given. So, Christ cannot dwell in them. The kingdom of God cannot be indwelling in them at that time. It is not possible. That's not what it means. But that's what the people are believing out there. Now let's go and see what it means without wasting time, what that passage is talking about. And this is important for us to understand the mystery of how the kingdom of God will come, because this is at the root of how it will come. This is at the root of when it will come, how it will come. He says it's not by observation. It will not be said. It is there, although it is here. For the kingdom of God is within you. The person that was teaching them that day was the Lord Jesus in their midst that day was God Almighty in their midst that day was Jesus Christ. And he said, the kingdom of God is within you. If you. If you take a look from his name, his name is Emmanuel, from the prophecy of Isaiah, chapter 7, verse 14. And it shall be called Emmanuel, which means God with us. Now he's saying the kingdom of God is with the people of Israel, with the Pharisees. He is referring to himself that was in the midst of the people in that particular occasion. That passage is referring the Pharisees to himself as the representative, the sole representative. He is the king of the kingdom. The kingdom cannot come without him. He is the one that owns the kingdom. The kingdom is his house. The kingdom is his body. He was teaching the Pharisees in your midst. Within you today is the kingdom. Because I, the king of the kingdom, is here with you. That's the meaning. It does not mean that the kingdom is with the fact. The kingdom cannot be inside the heart of the Pharisees, who are unbelievers. It means that he, the personification, the Persona of that particular kingdom is in their midst. He is pointing them to himself as the image maker of that kingdom, is the center of attraction. He is the cynosure. He is the main character. He is the actor. He is the king of the kingdom. He is trying to sensitize them. He's trying to let them know the kingdom of God has come by reason of the fact that the king has arrived. Even though the kingdom of God was not yet then established. But the mere fact of his arrival, the mere fact that he was already on the scene, he made it clear to them, the kingdom of God is within you. Because he himself is the personification of. Of that kingdom. When Daniel spoke about that kingdom, he referred to that kingdom, that it will start with ordinary stone. What is that stone? The stone the builders rejected that became the chief cornerstone. The stone that was said to have the stone. We have taken a look at it, although we are still going to repeat that message, because we saw there were some glitches. Jesus is that cornerstone. The church is built on him. He said the church is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ being the Chief cornerstone. He is that stone, a little stone, a sling that fell on the image, the Nebuchadnezzar's dream image. Smash the image. So the kingdom is about a man. The kingdom is the entire body of the man. He is the head of the kingdom, and the entire body are the members of the kingdom. He is the head of the church, and the entire body members are his body members of his body. God have always used himself, used him to describe the kingdom. He is that person, that Son of David, that God said, he will make a house on him. Not that he will build a house for him, but he will make him a house. He is a human being that God made, a human being that God turned into his house, a human being that God turned into his kingdom. By the indwelling of the ancient of days in him, God, using the agency of his human body, accomplished what was impossible under the law. So, it's important for us to understand in that passage, Jesus was energizing on the very important point about the kingdom. The kingdom is about him and him alone. We are members of his body. We are just like his hands, his legs, his eyes, his nose. He is the head. That kingdom is the kingdom of a man. And he told them, the kingdom of God cometh not by observation. It is not something you say. It is there or it is here. The kingdom of God is within you. So, in your midst today. I am in your midst today by reason of my presence in your midst today the kingdom of God is in your midst. That's what it means. It doesn't mean that the unbelievers are now housing the kingdom of God in their hearts. Who told you that nonsense? That's the stupid idea. The kingdom of God cannot inhabit, cannot be, inhabit, cannot be inside the heart of a man, a dangerous sinner who has not known God. One of them came to Jesus. He said, except you are born again, cannot. One of these Pharisees came to Jesus secretly and he told him off. After narrating everything he has done, he said, except they are born again. These things you are enumerating, all these things may have qualified you as a Pharisee, qualified you as a rabbi, qualified you as a teacher of Israel. But you are going nowhere. You will perish with this nonsense. You will not enter into the kingdom of God. So, it's important for us to understand. Now we are talking of the entry points. We are talking of when, how it happened, how, how. We are going to now unfold and unveil how it happened. Now you have now understood that the meaning of that particular passage is that the kingdom of God, represented by the Lord Jesus in person, was in their midst on that day. And that consummates the fact that the kingdom of God is within them. It also points to the fact that the kingdom of God is going to be, in effect, the kingdom of one man and the members of his body. The kingdom of one man, parts of his body. We are the parts of his body. The members of that kingdom are believers in Christ, believers in the church, who have given their life to Christ, believe the truth, and Christ is living in them. By that reason, they are adopted into the family of God, and they become members and brothers to one another. They are joined not by electric wire, not by anything, but by the Spirit of God. Wherever they are, they may be in London, in Iran, in the US In Israel, in Nigeria, everywhere they are connected by the tendons of faith, the tendons of the Spirit. That's why the apostle declared, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. They are heard by one baptism. They are held by one faith. They are held by one Lord. That Lord is the Spirit. The Spirit that dwells in each of them is one, the Spirit of Christ. And that is what we are about to now. We are not going into how the now. How will this kingdom come? How will this kingdom come? That question was asked, but they did not understand it. And the answer given, there was a parable. Let us understand how this kingdom will come. How unveiling. Let us understand if it has come. When did it come? How did it come? When was it inaugurated? How was it inaugurated? Where was it inaugurated? Proceed. John 20:19 to 22. John 20:19, 22. John 20:19,22. Then the same day, at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut, where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst and said unto them, peace be unto you. Yes. And when he had said this, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord? Yes. Then said Jesus to them again, peace be unto you, as my Father has sent me, even so sent I you. Yes. And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said unto them, receive the Holy Ghost. This was an encounter. Jesus was doing this thing physically in their midst, giving them a foretaste, a foretaste of what is going to happen to them. Any moment from that time. They did not receive the Holy Ghost. That day he said, receive. He did a dramatic performance in their midst. He came into them; into their Midst they were all afraid. They locked up the door. They were afraid of what will happen to them after that. The person they were following, calling Messiah, calling Christ, eventually got died. I mean got killed. They were all hiding them even with the news that he has resurrected. The news that they had resurrected did not cheer them up. They were afraid. How would they utter these things out to them? They hid themselves in the upper room and locked up the door. The Lord walked in there and said, peace be unto you. They were glad at first that he came in. He said again, peace be unto you. Receive. Yeah, the Holy Ghost. This was a dramatic, a dramatic prototype, a dramatic foretell of what God was about to do in their midst. Jesus demonstrated something. What he has just demonstrated now will be happening, will happen to them any moment from that time. But it's important you note that it was Jesus that came here and he was the one breathing. This exercise was a particular was particularly instructive to show the apostles that look, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit is coming from him. The Bible said. And he said, and when he has said this, he breathed. He breathed, breathed. And on them he said, receive. Yeah, the Holy Ghost. This was to demonstrate to the apostles that this kingdom is about to start, that he that is speaking to them is going to give them something. It was a physical miming; it was a kind of miming of what the Spirit of God will be doing thereafter. Coming to somebody, coming to people in the house and breathing. Breathing. What is he trying to show them? He's trying to show them. He's trying to pass a lesson. Something will come. It is called the Holy Spirit. That Holy Spirit is coming from me. I am the one that is going to give it from me ahead of time. Let me give it to you. I'm here now in your midst and I'm breathing it into you so that when it comes, you will know that it is coming from me. It came from within me. There was no other thing about that. That episode. It was entirely targeted at sensitizing their understanding to discover the spirit of God that is coming is not another person, is not another being. It is the same Lord Jesus. It is the Spirit of Christ. It is the Spirit of God. It is the Spirit that is in Christ. It is the Spirit that made Christ a man like you to become God unto us. Jesus is not a smaller God. Jesus is the Almighty God in human flesh. That ancient spirit that you call God in the Old Testament, the Bible told you, is a spirit. It indwelled in Jesus and made him to become God unto us. The indwelling of God in a man is what is called incarnation. And the world was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we behold his glory, the glory of the only begotten of God, full of grace and truth. He that is about to come. I'm laying this foundation because there is a stronghold of falsehood that has existed since mankind. That is not from your Bible. That ancient of days is the God that is inside the Lord Jesus. That God that is inside Jesus is he that came as the Holy Ghost. What Jesus is doing here now is to guard the understanding of the apostles. To understand what is coming is not coming out of me. What is coming is not coming from another person, but from me. What you are going to receive, I am the one that will give you. So let me do it now. This exercise I'm going to do now is going to show you something. Breathe in. Receive the Holy Ghost. They did not receive it. That it was meant to underline their mind to know when it eventually comes to discover. This is the spirit of him that is the head man of the Church. So this is important. Now. Let's now go into. Into. Let's now see what happened. Acts chapter 2:1 to 12. When the day of Pentecost came. Pentecost is one of the seven feasts, seven Jewish feasts. The Jews have seven Kadina biblical feasts, which all points to one man, the Lord Jesus. All of them. The Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Passover. The Feast of Unliving Bread, the Feast of the Weeks. The Feast of the First Fruits. The Feast of Pentecost. The Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of. The Feast of Trumpets, the Feast of Tabernacle and the Feast of Atonement. Yes, seven. All of them in the Old Testament. Pointing them to one man. Pointing them to one man. Pointing them to the person, the Persona in whom God will dwell to execute his assignment. All of them is targeted at directing their focus on him. Unfortunately, when he came to his own, his own rejected him. They expected a king. They needed that kingdom very badly. But the understanding of that kingdom was not God's understanding. They needed a kingdom. They needed to break away from the hegemony, the tutelage of the Roman government, the Roman Empire. They needed to have independence from Rome. They needed to be autonomous. They needed to have their own government. They needed to be allowed to choose their own king. Herod was imposed on them. They did not do any election. They were not the People that brought up Herod. Herod's ancestors were not kings in Israel. It was this man called. It was Rome that imposed that man Herod on them and sent a governor called Pontius Pilate. So it is instructive for us to understand what God is doing. All the feasts now this one is pointing to him. All the feasts pointed to him, the person in whom the only begotten Son of God. All the feasts are pointing to him in one aspect or the other. From Passover to the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Feast of Weeks to the Feast of First Fruits to the Feast of Pentecost to the Feast of Trumpets to the Feast of Tabernacle to the Feast of Atonement. All of them is pointing to him in whom God will indwell to accomplish his work. The God that came inside that man is not a small God, is not a smaller God. The name of the God that came there is not God the Son. That boy is the Son of God. That man is the Son of God. But the God that is inside him working is not Son of God is not smaller God, is not God the Son. That thing is not in your Bible. It is the Elohim. It is the Jehovah of Old Testament that came and indwelt in a man. It is the Alpha and Omega Jesus that Jesus appeared to be to John in the wilderness of Patmos and said to him, I am he that was. I am he that is. I am he that shall come. I am the Almighty. Isaiah, the prophet said, he is. He shall be called Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Everlasting Father. Is God with us? It's not small. God is not God. The Son with us is Almighty God with you? Don't ever shake your head. Don't ever say it's not possible. Take your time. Don't place your religion to become, to stumble. You put your religion aside. I equally had the religion before I got this. I had this, discovered this revelation before I had this revelation. I was equally a victim of religion. Christ came to deliver you and I from religion. Religion existed before he came. If religion could give us eternal life and salvation, he wouldn't have come. His coming is to deliver us from religion. So shut your mouth up and listen to me. I'm not a religious person. I'm not one of religious preachers. In fact, all of them are against me. I do not belong to them. What I am teaching now, what I am speaking on now, is a direct revelation from God established by the Apostles what they thought, I am standing on the existing revelation of the apostles, prophets of God. Scripture interprets scripture. You don't take a scripture and give it your own private interpretation. So now you can see. You can see what he said there. When the day of Pentecost came. This Pentecost is a. Is an Old Testament feast that features the gathering of people from every part of the world. From Africa, from Europe, from Asia, from Ethiopia, every part of the world. People gather to come and rejoice with the Jews over their feasts. The people gathering do not understand what is the meaning of Pentecost. The world then heard that the Jews used to celebrate a very big feast. And when this feast is coming, people from different parts of the world on their camel, they will come. Yes, they were all gathered. They were all together in one place. The apostles were together in one place. Yes. Suddenly. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violence. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind. That was just. That was just all. So suddenly. You are asking me when did it come? How did it come? How was it inaugurated? Pay attention. Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind. And it filled the whole and it feed all the house where they were sitting. Yes. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like a fire. And it sat upon each of them. Yes. Now look at cloven tongues as of fire. It is not fire, but it's like fire. And it sat on the top of the head of each of them. Yes. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. And they began to speak in other languages. Underline it with other languages. They began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them what others. They began to speak with other tongues. They began to speak in tongues in different languages. No, they were speaking in tongues is not speaking in different languages. It is speaking in tongues in a way that people with different. Is not speaking Spanish speaking, Portuguese speaking, English speaking. No, it is speaking a language, a tongue that everybody. That every. That the meaning that anybody from any. Anybody from. From any other language background will be able to understand what you are speaking. It is speaking a language that will be understood by every other person from every other language group or background. That's what happened. This mystery has never happened since the world began. What the prophets of Baal did in the encounter with Elijah is exactly what people are presenting today as the modern version of speaking in tongues. Speaking in an incoherent language. That nobody, persons of other tongues or language will be as bemused as nonplussed as the people that are of the same language. Even the people that are of the same language with the speakers today do not understand what is being spoken. Is gibberish. Is gibberish. The Bible called it raving. Was it done in the Bible before? Yes. The 400 prophets of Baal, they did it. That was the manner in which they prayed that day for their God to answer them. They prayed and prayed so energetic, so frantically that they started raving. The Bible said they raved, speaking in incoherent language and even cutting themselves. That's what evil spirits is doing. That's the gymnastics that people are doing today in the name of speaking in tongues. Evil spirits are using evil spirits are using people to exercising their powers on people and they will be gloating themselves that they have spoken in tongues. See if you don't understand what happened today. This thing that is happening in Acts Chapter 2 is a historic event. It is a landmark event marking the coming down of the king of the kingdom in Acts chapter 2. On that Pentecost day, 50 days after the resurrection, 50 days after the resurrection, God came down. The spirit that was in Jesus Christ, the spirit that made him who he is, came down to now indwell in the people of God. And now it is important you understand the surrounding events. Look at, he said a rushing wind came tongues. I mean tongues of light that looks like light on top of their head. And they were filled with the Holy Ghost and they began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterances. Yes. And they were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews and defiled men out of every nation under heaven. So that day there were many people in Jerusalem. They were dwelling at Jerusalem. Jews default men out of every nation under heaven. Every nation under what heaven? They were all in Jerusalem. People from different parts of the world were there. Africa people from Africa were there. People from Libya were there. Ethiopia was there. Egypt was there. Panphilia was there. Phrygia was there. Yes. Now, when this was noise abroad, the multitude came together and were confounded. When people started hearing these things and started talking about it. Those that came for the Pentecost feast, the attention was attracted because that every man heard them speak in his own language. Yes. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, behold, are not all these which speak Galileans? Yes. They are all from Galilee. Yes. And how here we every man in our own tongue wherein we were born, how are we hearing these Galileans in Our own tongue. In our own tongues. Wherein we were born. The man from Africa. The. The man from Egypt. The man from Ethiopia, the man from Libya. The man from. This is unbelievable. You have not taken time to understand what is speaking in tongues. One evil spirit just perched on you and started disturbing you. You start talking. You don't know what is happening. And you call it speaking in tongues. The people that are from the same language has not understood you. Is it the people from other languages that would understand you? And you call it speaking in tongues. You are just being used by a demon. And you are rejoicing. And you are proud. You are proud of a demon. Where has the spirit ever spoken this way? We should be very careful to make a distinction between spirits. There are a spirit of God and the spirit of devil, spirit of evil. There is demonic spirit and there is godly spirit. How do you speak in this manner? And you say you are speaking in tongues? Compare yourself with what is happening in the Bible. Just take your time. Read these things and ask yourself, the one you spoke last time, is it exactly this? And how hear we every man in our own tongue wherein we were born? Yes. Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia and in Judea and in Cappadocia and in Pontus and in Asia. People from different places? Yes. Phrygia and Pamphylia in Egypt. And in parts of Libya, about Cyrene and strangers of Rome. Even people from Rome were there. Jews were there. And Proselytes. Yes. People from Crete were there. People from the Arab world. Arabians were there. We do hear them speak in our tongues. The wonderful works of God. If you care to know the truth, if you are desirous of knowing the truths, your Bible cannot mislead you. It is not every spirit, anything that comes into your mouth that is speaking in tongues. Judge what you are speaking with your Bible. Is it what their brethren spoke? What their brethren spoke was understood by people of other languages and even Jews. So. But their own people that speak their language has not been able to understand you. And you call it your speaking. Which tongues? Whose tongues? Is it America or what is it Jamaica you are speaking? This madness should stop. We should be able to retrieve ourselves from the satanic entanglements of these demons that have held many people in bondage with a very strong delusion, giving them impression that they are serving God. You don't know that you are serving demons. Yes. Verse 12. And they were all amazed and were in doubt, saying one to another, what meaneth this? Yes. Thirteen others Mocking, said, these men are full of new wine. Yes, But Peter, standing up with the 11, lifted up his voice and said unto them, ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you. Hearken to my words. Yes, for these are not drunken as yet. Suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. Yes, but this is what? This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. Now you know the story, you can develop the story further. But one important thing is that on this occasion. On this occasion, the Holy Spirit of God came down upon the church, took over the leadership of the Church. The Spirit of Christ is what was what came down and distributed itself, distributed on the head of everyone there. And from that day, people that were afraid. Look at Peter that is now about to start talking. This message that Peter released that day was the most powerful message, one of the longest sermons ever preached by an apostle. I have not seen any sermon longer than this by any apostle. That was the day Almighty God opened the door of the kingdom of God to the Jews, to the whole world. That door was opened that day to the whole world. The Bible said. After that very powerful sermon, 3,000 souls believed and said, men and brethren, what shall we do to be saved? And the Bible and Peter said, repent and be baptized. Let's see, verse 38. Or start from verse 36. Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made that same Jesus whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 37. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Yes. Then Peter said unto them, repent and may baptize every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. That was the day the door of the kingdom of God was open. Continue. For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Yes. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, save yourself from this untoward generation. Yes. Then they that gladly received his words were baptized. And the same day they were added unto them about 3,000 souls. The door of that kingdom was opened ajar on that day by God Almighty, 3,000 souls were added to the Church. What happened that day is more than what meets your eyes. Let us look for a scripture to explain to you what happened. Because the Spirit that was in Christ has simply Returned back. What has come upon the Church is not another person, but the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit that was in Christ, the Spirit that made Christ who he is, is what is now in the Church, leading the Church, guiding the Church, teaching the church, and giving power to a people that were before then afraid. Let us see John 14, 16, 20. This is a very important episode of Jesus Christ in preparation for his exit, for his death, crucifixion. Pay attention, because in this passage he will reveal a lot of secrets using words that are not easily clear to the eyes, but along the line. God will give you the understanding. And I will ask the Father and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. Who is speaking? Jesus. Speaking to who? The apostles. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. From this particular episode, the ordinary impression is that he is going to ask the Father and He will bring another. The word another. Is there another advocate? It is on the surface suggesting that is another person. It's very clear on the surface, literally to help you and be with you forever. But let's see whether truly, truly what is coming is another person. Or what will come in will be the Spirit of he that is talking to them. Verse 17. The Spirit of truth. He calls it the spirit of this advocate, another advocate. He calls him the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. He calls him the Spirit of Truth. He said again, the world cannot accept him. Why? Because it neither sees him nor knows Him. Yes, now pay attention. No, I've not finished that one. Now pay attention. But you know Him. For he lives with you and will be in you. Keep quiet. But look at that verse again. But you know him. But you know Him. For he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. Just look at it again. But you know Him. He said the world, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because they neither see him nor know Him. But you people, you know Him. For he dwelleth with you at that moment and shall be in you. Now ask yourself, who was he that was dwelling with them at that moment? Who was he that was in their midst at that moment? Who was he that was talking to them? He that is dwelling with them is he that must be he that is with them that time. It is him, Jesus. But you know him, for he dwelleth with you now. He is dwelling with you. He Is God with you now and shall be in you. He will now very soon become God, not with you, but inside you. For he knows but ye know him, for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. The key to understanding it is he that dwelleth with them that time, that moment, and will be in you. In them thereafter is no other one but him. For yet for you. But you know him, because he dwelleth but you know him, for he lives in you and will be in you. Verse 18. Now, assuming you did not understand it from that verse 17, I will still give you another opportunity for you to understand it. Let's go on. I will not leave you as offers. I will come to you. Now if you are having any doubts about who is coming, if you are having any misapprehension, any confusion as to who is this advocate. Who is this advocate? Another advocate. Jesus has told you. Now look at verse 18. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. I will come to you. He that is telling you is now telling you; I will not leave you as orphans. If Jesus left and did not come, he would have left the church as what? Orphans. But he said, I will not leave you as orphans. I will come. Not another person will come. I look at I there will come to you, pointing you to him as the person that is coming. Pointing you to him as the person that is coming. Look at verse 19. Yes, before long, the world will not see me anymore. Now take a look again. Before long the world will not see me anymore. But you will see me. Because I live in you. Because I live, you also will live. Verse 20. On that day, you will realize that I am in my Father and you are in Me, and I in you. On that day you will realize that he that is talking to you now physically with you, now physically dwelling with you, is he that is going to come inside you. It is a mystery. It is difficult to understand. But it is the person that is talking that ended up dwelling them. He's talking as a human being, physically, in a physical body. But after his death, he resurrected carrying a glorified body that could be able to enter the place of meeting of the apostles without anybody opening the door. And then when he eventually resurrected, 50 days after his ascension, when he ascended, 50 days after his ascension, after his resurrection, he did what that spirit that was in him returned back to prove to the church that he will not leave them as prophets. That's the King of the kingdom. The kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. It will first start as A spiritual kingdom. It will very soon become both spiritual and physical. But now he is operating as a spiritual kingdom. The he that came is he that is talking to them. By death he dropped the physical body, took up a glorified body that could appear and disappear, that could enter houses without knocking, without the door being open. But after that, when he resurrected, he came back to the church on the Pentecost day. He that came on that day, on the Pentecost day and was dwelling on their heads, showing a little thing like light, tongues of light, is he that is called Jesus Christ. The Bible said in First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 22 and verse 25 and verse 45. Read it. First Corinthians 15:22. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. Read verse 45. So, it is written. The first Adam became a living being. The last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The second, the last Adam is Jesus Christ. He is both a human being. At first, he manifested as a man. God manifested as a man. He that manifested as a man also manifested as a spirit. The last Adam is a life-giving spirit. Jesus is a spirit. The spirit of Christ is what is in the church. It is not another spirit. It's not another God. It's not another person. It is the same Spirit that was in Christ. Just one God, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. In the Bible it says diverse operations, diverse administrations, diverse manifestations, diverse activities by the same God. That's First Corinthians 12, verse 4 to 6. Diverse activities, diverse operations, diverse manifestations, diverse administrations. But the same Lord and God. One God. So the same God. The Jehovah of Old Testament is the Jesus Christ of the New Testament and the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit of the Church. I will not leave you as offers. I will come to you. This I will come to you is not talking about the second coming. When he would have come, when rapture would have taken place. And he will be coming to now usher us into the millennium. The reign, the 1000 reign of the Church. That is not it. There is somebody that has been with the church from the day of Pentecost. That is him. That is your King. That church is the kingdom of God. He left the body and came back in spirit form to now lead. He calls him the Spirit. What is he being called here? The first Adam, a living being. The last Adam, a life-giving spirit, is a spirit that gives life. Is a spirit that if he enters into a person, he can give life to that person. A spirit that went to the grave touched the body of a dead man and the thing woke up. It lifted the rock that was used to cover the tomb, lifted up everything that the Bible says. If the spirit that raised up Christ dwell in you, it shall be able to quicken our mortal bodies. Romans 8:11. So it's important for you to understand today that the spirit of the coming down of the Spirit of God on the church marks the inauguration and the establishment of the kingdom of God. The church of God is a synonym for the kingdom of God. Where the church was talked about, where the establishment of the church was talked about. In Matthew chapter 16, Jesus equally talked about the kingdom of God and the church interchangeably. What you call the church is a mystery. That's the kingdom of God. In reality, presently, it is a spiritual kingdom. Those that believe in it, those that are in it, are connected by one spirit, the Spirit of Christ. It is one spirit that is in all of us. It enters into a believer. When that person believes the truth, ye shall know the truth. The truth shall set you free. So it is important for the church to know, is important for every person there who cares about this kingdom to know. This kingdom was established and inaugurated in your Bible, in the Acts of Apostles, Chapter two. What happened that day, the signs you saw that day, is so marvelous and phenomenal. It is not for nothing. It is a very significant signpost. The emergence, the epiphany of that kingdom. That's the inauguration. It's not something you say. It is there, it is low, it is here. No, this church. This church is believers scattered everywhere. The church is not this building that people have built up and down the church are the people that believe in Christ. They may be anywhere, but they are connected by one wire. That wire is the Holy Spirit. Because what is in A is what is in B. What is in C is what is in D. That is a spiritual kingdom. That is the kingdom of God. The king that came that day. That Holy Ghost is the king, is Christ, is the owner of the kingdom. Yes, it is Christ that came as the Holy Ghost. I will not leave you comfortless a little while. The world will not see me. But you will see me. But the world will not see me. Because they neither know me nor believe in me. But you know me. You will see me. I dwell with you now and will be in you. Look at that. John 14:17. Look at that. John 14:17. 17. The spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him. The world out there neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him. For he lives with you. Give me king James. Give me king James. But ye know him, for he dwelleth with you. Jesus was at that moment dwelling with them. And he says, and shall be in you. The king that is coming, the spirit of God is he that was dwelling with them that time. Whoever, whatever qualifies as the spirit of God must be something or somebody that is dwelling with them at that time. He dwelleth with you and shall be in you. And shall be a prophecy. Future, he shall be in you. That is the time of the apostolic. That is the. The coming down. That is the day of Pentecost. It came. Look at. Let's see, verse 18. Let's see, verse 18. I will not leave you comfortless. I will not leave you like orphans. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. You see, after a lot of parables and confessions, he will draw pigs. Now, what is dropped on top may not allow you to understand what is coming. So, it is difficult for people to believe that he that is talking is he that eventually came. He said, I will not leave you as offers. I will come to you. If he was not him, that means the church has been all this while existing as offers. But we are not orphans. He said, he will come to us. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. And that is what exactly happened. John, chapter 7, 33, 34. Jesus said, I am with you for only a short time. Give me king James, please make this mistake. Then said Jesus unto them, yet a little while am I with you. And then I go unto him that sent me. He's repeating it here again. Then said Jesus unto them, yet a little while am I with you. He's now explaining that thing. You ask yourself, who is with us. He, a little while am I with you. And then I go unto him that sent me. Yes, ye shall seek me and shall not find me. And where I am theta, ye cannot come. And where I am theta, ye cannot come. Now, what this is talking about is the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Jesus, for him to actually turn into a spirit must have to die. And after death, he resurrected. After resurrection, he ascended before he now came down on the church. God is the one doing all these things. So, in all, it is clear to us that the kingdom of God came. The kingdom of God has come. The king came. The king was with them physically and later joined us spiritually by his spirit. Jesus is a quickening spirit. Jesus is the last Adam. He is not a normal human being. He is a quickening spirit, a life-giving spirit. If you know him only at the flesh. If your knowledge of Jesus stops only at the flesh, you will have a myopia, A strong misunderstanding of what the scripture is saying. Jesus is called a life-giving spirit. Being a spirit, he is that spirit that came upon the church. If the Spirit that was in Christ dwelleth in you, it will be able to quicken our mortal bodies on the day of resurrection. That is a very significant landmark, a very significant milestone, a very significant event in the history of the children of God and the history of the kingdom of God. That is the day God inaugurated spiritually the kingdom of God. That is the day the King came down into his kingdom. That is the day God Almighty, which is the Holy Spirit, which is that Spirit of Christ. That is the day he entered into his house, entered into his building. The building are the people that believe in him. After the preaching of that day, 3,000 souls were ushered into that kingdom again In Acts chapter 10, he went to the Gentiles, declared another powerful message in the house of Cornelius, to the chagrin of even Peter that was making the message because he was reluctantly doing so for not believing that this salvation is for us. It's also for us; he thought we are excluded from the commonwealth of the. Of the salvation of Christ. But there he was embarrassed by Cornelius speaking in tongues, to his amazement, without even him uttering a word. And he said, what shall not stop me from baptizing him, seeing that they are already filled with the Holy Spirit. So, it is important that we know when this event comes. If you are one of those that have been very busy reciting, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come. And you don't know how this kingdom will come. You probably will continue to recite these things until maybe the millennium. And it is very dangerous. You may not be privileged to be in your physical body by that time. It will be very, very dangerous. You need to discover that what is promised to the to the Church has already happened. What is promised? A kingdom that was nigh. A kingdom that was said to be near, that was said to have come in the time of John the Baptist. And Jesus Christ cannot be still yet to come up to today. No, he has come. He came not with physical science. He came spiritually. It is a spiritual kingdom. Don't forget the Bible says it's going to start like a mustard seed, is going to start unnoticed. God is not going to inaugurate you. But on the day of that event, people from different parts of the world gathered in Israel. The Bible says they came for Pentecost. God used that event of Pentecost to gather as many as possible from different parts of the world and to their hearing. And they are very. Before this event took place. And I'm sure some of them must have been among the number that believed and were baptized. You see, that was how. That was the day God inaugurated his kingdom. That was the day God established his kingdom. That was why Jesus said in Mark, chapter 9, verse 1 Mark 9:1. He said, Look. He said unto them, verily I say unto you that there be some of them that stand here which shall not taste of death till they have seen the kingdom of God come with what power? He was talking to people in Mark, chapter nine, when he was alive. He said that there will be some people here, standing here, which shall not take place of death, which shall not die till they have seen the kingdom of what God come with what power. If this were to be true, that means it must have happened within the time shortly after his departure. It must have happened within the time when those that were with him in that particular moment or event, we are still alive. Ask yourself, are there still anybody that were with Jesus Christ by that time who is still alive now? All of them would have died. Jesus said. Jesus gave you a timeline, that there are some of them that stand here tonight, today that shall not taste of death, that will not die till they have seen the kingdom of God come with what power? And what came that day was something very, very spectacular. It's not an ordinary power. It's not ordinary event. That was the power of God from above. Look at Acts, chapter 1, verse 8. To know exactly what happened that day. Acts 1, verse 8. Acts 1, verse 8. Acts 1, verse 8. But you will receive power. You will receive power. You see it. So, for you to understand what happened on the Pentecost day, look at this. But you will receive what power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. So the coming down of the Holy Spirit means the transference of transmission of power. But you will receive power. But ye shall receive power after that. The Holy Ghost is come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part, the earth. It is immediately after receiving his power that the kingdom of God started moving to the four ends of the earth. The people that were before then afraid, before then hiding themselves in fear, now are with boldness declaring the gospel to people in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the Earth. What happened on that day is the coming down of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of Christ. Christ is the king of that kingdom. The king. The coming down of the king into his kingdom. Kingdom. The arrival of the king. The arrival, the inauguration of the kingdom. A kingdom is just the reign of a king over a people or a place. The reign of a king over a people. For there to be a king, for there to be a kingdom, there must be a king. The kingdom cannot be inaugurated without the king. The coming down of the king into his. Into the kingdom is a very great event that actually landmarks the as the commencement, the inauguration and the establishment of God's kingdom on this planet Earth. Our prayer, let thy kingdom come. Let thy kingdom come. God has fulfilled it on this earth. That is why the apostles never pray that again. That is why they never prayed it. And it amazes me that people are still praying these things up to today. It is unbelievable that these things are still being recited, it is still being read. And you begin to wonder, has God failed? Could it be that Jesus, after promising these things, was overpowered by the devil and he was not able to? He that said that look the world, some people that are with me alive here, talking, will still be alive when it will come. Could it be he has failed? Could it be it was a fluke, a false promise, A false statement? Is that what you are saying? What we should differentiate between the coming of the kingdom and the reign of the kingdom? The kingdom, the Bible says, will start like a mustard seed. It will grow from strength to strength, from stage to stage, until it gets to a point where you even be talking of. In fact, as at the moment, inside the kingdom, there are still some tars, there are still some unbelievers. Yes, but the Bible says leave it during the harvest time. The harvest time has not come. But that does not mean the kingdom of God has not been established during the harvest. At the end there will be harvest. God said he will send his angels and they will first of all clear with away from the kingdom every undesirable element. So many things have been planted in the church, not by God, but by the devil in the same church. But that is the scripture. But that is not a problem. It is in accordance with God's divine plan that both the test and the wheat will cohabit. But at a time, there will be a separation, a divine separation. So, brethren, is important that we understand tonight that the mystery about how this Kingdom will come has been unveiled, is there in the Bible. The Bible teaches us how it will be, how it will come, how it will be inaugurated, how it will come. What Jesus was doing In John chapter 20 was a drama to put in their mind, put in their remembrance, that what is coming is no other one but himself coming to them and doing this kind of gymnastics he did that day, standing in their midst and just breathing and say, receive the Holy Ghost is the dramatic miming of a spiritual truth that was to unfold few days after that day. And it's important we understand that, understand the mystery of what God did there. What is the mystery? The mystery is so many people did not. People would find it difficult believing that it is the Spirit of Jesus that returned back as the Spirit of God. What was in Jesus was no other thing but God Almighty. That God is a spirit. John 4. 24, When Jesus dropped the flesh, that God returns back, that God is the Spirit of Christ, is not another spirit. It is that God's presence in Christ that made Jesus God, that made him the Almighty, that made him the Messiah. He is not a smaller God. He is not God the Son. He is not in your Bible, that's a pagan. A pagan. A pagan ideology. It does not have any origin from in your Bible. If you Google your Bible, if you Google, you know the time. If you just ask Google now to tell you, use your phone now. Ask Google, tell us, tell me when the word Trinity was originated. Give me the origin of Trinity. When was it first mentioned? It was first mentioned 325 years after the death of Jesus Christ in a treaty, in a conference in Italy. That was when it was agreed that it should be introduced as a doctrine, as a creed. It was not there in your Bible. It's a strange teaching. There has no Bible support anywhere, so. But these things are because of the parabolic method of Jesus messages. Because when he said, I will send you another comforter, I will tell my father, and he will send you another comforter. The ordinary and literal interpretation is that he that is coming is another comforter person. But eventually, when he finished the parabolic dribbling, he just came and said, I will not leave you like orphans. I'll come back. I'll come to you. In that verse 17, he says, this Holy Spirit of God, the Spirit of truth, whom the world does not know, know the world does not see. The world neither sees nor knows, but you know him. For he dwelleth with you at that moment and shall be in you. So, whatever should Whatever must qualify as the Holy Spirit of God must be somebody that was dwelling with them that day, at that moment. Physically, no other person qualifies but Jesus Christ. Your Bible tells you that Jesus is a spirit, is a quickening spirit, a quickening spirit, a life-giving spirit. And that's the Spirit of God is not another person. That's why Apostle Paul will say, beyond all controversy, greats are the mystery of godliness that God was manifested in the flesh. First Timothy 3:16. Beyond all controversy, beyond all questions, the mystery without controversy great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world and received up into glory. God was manifested in the flesh. So, God, the God that manifested in the flesh is not a small God is not God the Son is the Jehovah of who? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That was what manifested in the flesh justified in the Spirit. That was what came as spirit to us. That was what came to us as spirit justified in the spirit. Seeing for the first time Jesus, the angels saw God for the first time in the person of Jesus Christ. For the first time they have never seen him. It was only in the person. When Jesus was preached unto, the Gentiles, believed on in the world and received up into glory. When he was received up into glory, he returned. He came back into the church as a spirit. That's the Spirit of God. And it's important we understand that that spirit of God is the king of the kingdom is the king of the kingdom is the head of the Church. That is the mystery, the mystery of how the kingdom of God was inaugurated. It is a mystery that if you are not told, you will not believe. You will be asking where, how the power that is said will come is that power that came upon the apostles. Look at the miraculous event that took place on that day for the first time. Some people were speaking. The apostles were speaking. They were 120 in that house that day. And they were speaking in languages that people from different parts of the world were hearing them in their own language. So next time you speak that nonsense, ask people, did you hear me in your own language? If they didn't hear you in your own language, the devil has simply used you to speak one very terrible thing. You know, you finish, you come to fellowship. You are you; you want to you, you talk the one you know, the devil will use somebody to talk a different thing that you don't know into what you are preaching because you don't know it. Now, it's a language you don't know. It's only the demon that is talking to you than talking through you that knows it. But when the church spoke, people from Africa, people from Ethiopia, past every part of the world, Medes, Persia, everywhere, they had in their own language. It's not ability, it's not linguistics, not ability to speak in different languages. No, they were not speaking in different languages. They with the miracle that they were speaking a language that people from different languages were able to understand in their own language. That's the mystery. It has never happened. So, what is parading itself today as speaking in tongues is complete? Barbadash. It's not true. It's just the workings of the enemy, the devil in his attempt to continue his work of deception and delusion. I leave you at that. Ladies and gentlemen, I think tonight, if you have followed me, you will have understood that everything about the Kingdom of God is a mystery. And this mystery is all about everything concerning the kingdom. So, we are taking it one by one, the inauguration, how it was established. The people that ask this question, when will it be established? They were expecting an answer, but they were giving a more difficult parable. They were giving a parable, a complete dribble. But it is only to the believers that the knowledge of these truths is being revealed. And that is why, if you look up, if you look at Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:13, he was boldly telling them. He boldly declared that those of us that are in the church are already in the kingdom of God. Look at it. Who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Can you give it to us from verse 12? Giving thanks unto the father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in life. Yes, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom, into the kingdom of his dear Son, into the kingdom. Apostle Paul could not have said to the church that they are now in the kingdom of his dear Son, if the church is not the kingdom of God. And this kingdom could not have remained out of existence up till now, given the fact that Jesus spoke, saying that some of them that were alive with him that day will remain alive when the kingdom will come. Apostle John, in the wilderness of Patmos, did not equally hesitate to join his voice with the voice of his brethren in commemorating, confirming and attesting to the fact that the kingdom of God has come. He said In Revelation, chapter one, verse nine. I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom. Talking about the kingdom, which kingdom is this? Whose kingdom is this? The kingdom of God. I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ. So, brethren, it's important for you to know. Tell anybody who is still reciting this. Our Father who art in heaven, tell him to stop reciting it and to start seeking to enter into the kingdom of God. One of the men, one of the Pharisees, came to him in the night. He still told him, told him about his kingdom. He said, you cannot enter that kingdom with these things. You are prepared, preaching and practicing, except you are born again. You cannot enter into that kingdom if this kingdom is still something that is too far. He doesn't need to be talking to Nicodemus. Nicodemus, I'm sure, could not have lived more than 50 years after that event. But he was telling him, except you are born again, you cannot enter into the kingdom of God. God. The kingdom of God was a reality that was around the corners at that time. And in the New Testament. It was born, it was inaugurated, it was established. But today, people are still reciting this prayer with very serious zeal. A zeal that knows no, no boundary, but no amount of zealousness and passion will make a lie to be true or will defeat the truth. So, I submit tonight that indeed the kingdom of God has come. And the mystery surrounding his inauguration and establishment is what we have looked into tonight, night making it clear, as clear as the day how God made it. How God eventually inaugurated that kingdom with himself being inside the kingdom. But today it is existing as a spiritual reality, a present spiritual reality. The kingdom of God has both a present and future reality. It is a reality today, but in the spiritual sense of it, it is not a kingdom. You can go like the kingdom in Saudi Arabia or the French King. The kingdom of who in France? These are. All these earthly kingdoms are kingdoms. You can say, is there? No. This is a spiritual kingdom. It first will start as a spiritual kingdom, but with time it will develop. It will continue to grow and develop. You don't have to wait until it becomes a full-fledged. By that time, it will be too late. I urge every one of you, under the influence of my voice, make up your decision. Take a decision to begin to search for the kingdom of God. Seek ye the kingdom of God is one of. One of the topics, one of the mysteries we are going to be looking at one of these days because people are still carrying prayer points everywhere. What God said we should do is to seek the kingdom of God. He said, every other thing shall be added unto us. If we are believers and if we are trusting him. We only have to seek the kingdom of God. If he fails to provide every other thing, that means he has failed us. We just stand by his promise. Seek his kingdom and his righteousness. He didn't say, after seeking his kingdom and his righteousness, then start enumerating your prayer points for me to answer. Did he say so? He said, says, seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Every other thing shall be added unto you. Added. So, brethren, finally, in conclusion, the kingdom of God is a reality, a present reality and a future reality. It has come and we have learned today how it was established on this earth. So, the prayer, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come should no longer be repeated by anybody who is interested in seeking this kingdom, except if you are. If you are still looking for a kingdom that is not talked about anywhere in your scriptures. I want to thank you very much for this wonderful location, for giving me your attention and for being part of this historic presentation. We will continue to come your way every Sunday, be part of this program. We are determined just like Apostle Paul said. Woe betides me if I do not preach, if I do not declare the counsel of God, woe unto me if I do not preach this gospel. Join me same time, same week, next week as we continue to unfold the mysteries that enshrouds the kingdom of God. Thank you so much and may God bless.
